Poor suction
I lost some parts to my nose Frida, so I thought I would try this thing out. I've used it a few times now, and I'm pretty disappointed with it. As I always have, I squirt some saline in baby's nose, then followed it with suction. All of the times I have used this particular one, I got nothing at all out. I didn't even suck out the saline! This is frustrating, because it seems like it would work, based on the design.Pros:-no filters!-mouth piece can't fall off and get lost.Cons:-suction hole is smaller, which means it goes further up his nose. I prefer the suction to be at the entrance of his nostril, not inside of it.-no mucus or saline is coming out, perhaps because the auction hole is smaller?!At this point, I am going to try another nasal aspirator. If that one doesn't work, it's back to the nose Frida.EDIT 3/19/2016:Last night my baby was very congested, so I really, desperately tried to get this nasal aspirator to work. After a few failed attempts to clear out his nose, we searched the house until we found our missing nose frida parts. I compared the suction hole on the nose frida and the pediatrican choice aspirators, and the one on nose frida is much bigger. I'm attaching a photo comparing nose frida, bubzi co, and pediatrican choice suction holes. Pediatrician choice hole is so small, it's no wonder I can't get the thing to work. Thankful I don't have to rely on it!

Not the first bugger sucker we've purchased, but by far the best one.
We (parents a fussy kid) recently lost some vital pieces to an older bugger sucker we were using, so went looking for a new replacement. From our experience with various other models, we were looking for something that was both effective but more important comfortable to use. Other models we've used were nothing more than a hard plastic funnel that gets jabbed into the nose. Our little one hated that one, but we kept using it because it was the most effective one we found up to the point. Oh, and as for those bulbs, I remember one my mother had back in the day, that thing could drain a lake; these new ones can barely take a sip. Anyhow, this bugger suck is now our number one choice. It has a soft tip that gentle on the nose, and the whole unit can easily be taken apart for cleaning. We would have no issue recommending this product to other parents with fussy kids.

This one is perfect, it doesn't kink
We have tried EVERY aspirator on Amazon. Nose Frida we struggled with getting enough suction and the tube was too short once we had a wiggly toddler...she would head butt us. The yellow one (forget the brand) with two long tubes, would often get tangled or swing as we would fight to get it in her nose, meaning the tube would either kink or the container would move and we'd end up with a mouth of boogers. The mechanical ones never get enough suction. This one is perfect, it doesn't kink, provides enough width for proper suction, the part that goes in her nose goes deep enough to really clear her sinuses, there is even the part on your end for your teeth to grip! Really, THE BEST!

the only thing that will help get the snot out of your baby's tiny nostrils
A must for a runny nosed sick baby. Although, my daughter (9 months) hates it, but it does the job of getting all that nasty snot out. We always call this the snot sucker. I don't get grossed out because I know the boogers will never reach my mouth, although once they did actually get in the sucking tube! I guess my baby had THAAT much snot, ew. But it never got to my mouth, it was just kind of on the tip of the aspirator and the sucking tube (that's why I gave this 4 stars) otherwise, you must buy.

Amazing what you don't find disgusting after having the child
For our registry we registered for a standard nasal bulb, primarily because we found the thought of this thing to be disgusting. After baby was born and trip to the ER for shallow, strained breathing due to to congestion, we ordered this thing right away. It is amazing what you no longer find gross after baby is born.It works much better than the typical nasal bulb and is nice that all parts detach for cleaning. Nothing gets into your mouth either, which is obviously very important.

If I can give it a zero star I would.
By far the worse nasal aspirator I have used. The nasal drip actually when up the tube and only about 3 inches from the mouth piece. I am almost 100% sure there was some small portion that went into my mouth already. Most aspirator usually have some type of foam at the beginning of the tube to prevent any drippage from entering the tube. 2 days later, I got the a fever and cold just like what my son have who nasal I tried to clear.

I thought it would be more convenient than the regular ...
I thought it would be more convenient than the regular bulb given at the hospital, but i found the contrary to be the case. To use the bulb, i just need to use one hand, with this one, i need a hand and a mouth. With a moving baby it's not that convenient. Plus, there are more components to be washed, so that's another minus.
