A great book for fans of the Wranglerstar channel/family
A great book for fans of the Wranglerstar channel/family. Very interesting history of how they met, their courtship, and their first heartbreaking steps into moving out of the city and into the country. Lots of great photos and the book is well-designed and easy to read. Been a couple months since I read it but I seem to recall that I felt it could have used a bit of editing/condensing -- there was a lot of detail especially concerning their first homestead site that, to me at least, bogged down the flow of the narrative. But don't let that scare you away, it was great fun to learn a little bit more about them, a privilege really. Best of all, they reflect their faith in Christ in their lives and it comes out in the book. Well-done Wranglerstar family!

Wonderful heart warming family book!
I started watching the Wranglerstar family a few months ago and decided to get the book to find out more. I readthrew the book the first two days and I haven’t missed any of the YouTube videos also are going threw all their videos from their start. They are a honest, hardworking, caring family who stand on strong values. Very refreshing to be able to sit down and read with my wife without worrying about the language or content. I can’t say enough about this book very well written drawing you to their home, life and before you know it feeling like they are family and you are part of the family. You can also learn a ton of information from Cody as he shows and teaches how to do things along with Mrs W and here point of view along with Jack’s warm youthful experience of living and working along with growing up on a Mordern Homestead.

has great photos, and presents a family who works together ...
I follow Wranglerstar's channel on YouTube and have some background on Cody and his family. The book has been very interesting. The book is well written, has great photos, and presents a family who works together to achieve a better lifestyle. If anyone is thinking of relocating to the country to work towards a more self-sufficient lifestyle then this book will be a good start. It is not comprehensive, but gives solid tips, warns about making rash decisions, and provides a vision. This book is warm and friendly and is a good read and study.

Great Book, Potent Paperback
The book itself is a great read, and complements their YouTube videos extremely well. It couldn't be more perfectly matched to the channel. Their videos show specific projects for the most part, and drop little mentions about their past and how they got where they are. This book lays out their story step by step and answers most of the questions that regular viewers likely have. I'm very glad I bought the book. Their story will stay with me for a long time as our family chooses and works toward our own path.Something I must comment on… The paperback (literally) stinks! There is a certain "new book smell" to expect, but this thing absolutely reeks. It's seriously off-gassing some potent fumes. I'm not especially sensitive to such things, but this is honestly irritating my eyes after an hour of reading. It doesn't seem cheap at all, since the entire book is beautifully printed on semi-gloss full-color pages. But man, the fumes are rough. Kind of makes me wish I had bought the Kindle edition.UPDATE (July 30, 2016): To be clear, the pages are thick, durable, and beautifully printed. But still today, if I flip through the pages, there is a very strong smell that I have never experienced with any of the hundreds of books I have read.

A thoughtful insight into homesteading
I've followed wranglerstar for a while now on the internet, after coming across a useful video of his on tools. I continued with some interest because he came across as a complete gentleman with a very different set of values from what I would expect from most YouTube personalities. This book was a very interesting insight into the real challenges that he faced with his family while working towards Living the Dream. I'd recommend it for anyone interested in or considering homesreading. You'll find it soulful and profound, humorous and entertaining.

Refreshing and informative. A GOOD read.
Could not put the book down. Was pleased to read the various adversities the Wranglerstar Family has overcome and continues to succeed. Their teaching method for Jack and others is quite refreshing. They are anchored in their principles and faith. Four young people these days they are a rarity. They have inspired me to make my 3 acres my homestead instead of just a place to spend my waning years. I am 71 years old and trying to accomplish a few of the projects I've viewed on their channel.

An Excellent Read
An exxcellent read by people who are doing what they love. I am a long term fan of the Wranglerstar YouTube channel and I have enjoyed this well written and illustrated book about living a more self-suffecient life. I advise buying the beautifully produced print version rather that the digital edition which has formatting problems that make it difficult to read. I own copies of both formats. This book is much more tha a 'how to' guide-its strength is the family love and partnership between the authors that is the unifying theme of their adventure.

Every 18 year old needs to read this book.
There is a lot of common sense inside this book. I would tell any parent that has a young man that is 18 or older and getting ready to start out on his own not only pick up this book, but go to Wranglerstars YouTube page. This family has a moral compass that is centered with their belief in the Lord, Jesus Christ, that believe you can obtain things without going into debt like so many young people do. This is a life book just as much as a entertaining read.

Wranglerstar
même si ce livre s'applique plus particulièrement aux Usa et à ses "grands espaces", il y a pas mal d'idées à reprendre pour la France. Intéressant...

A family's journey from high life to homestead
This book is a must for Wranglerstar subscribers or those interested not in how to homestead but what homesteading can be like. Whilst there are tips and tricks outlined in the book, the book is about the journey and what it takes to homestead as well as the story of the Wranglerstar family. As an atheist the references to God felt unnecessary to me but those beliefs are important to the author and not at all attempting to convert you. The mentions of religion are simply there because it is a part of the Wranglerstar life and they are easily skipped over.Overall, the book was a great read and highlights the trials, tribulations, the successes and the feelings of modern homesteading.

Absolutely LOVED, LOVED
Absolutely LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this book - very well written, lots of photos and captivating story. I am amazed at the strength of this family to never give up despite all the set backs. A must read to anyone wanting to venture out to the country and start a homestead.

Ottimo inizio Cody!
