My little one loves it

Helen's precious illustrations are a perfect match for this sweet story of a little boy growing up. Be warned though. If you are a mom who wishes your babies wouldn't grow quite so fast you might get a little teary! I did!

This is one of my favourite children's books. Beautiful illustrations on quality paper, with sweet and lyrical text. I am happy to read this one whenever my children ask!

Used this with my class of Y1 as part of transition at end of term. They loved it and it provoked so many questions and feelings.

Overall this is not a stellar book for two stellar writer and illustrator. Text needs to be edited. Too bad. But we have so many other fantastic books by those two giants.
