Good range of sizes - suited more for boat fishing
I have recently been dusting off my old fishing gear and thinking to get out now and again. I checked my old hooks and although stainless steel, they are mostly rusty so I was really pleased to be able to order these.They are plentiful and look strong and up to the job but I think that the sizing is more suited for boats. Also, the barbless shanks mean that only certain baits are best used if beach casting. This may sound like I know what I am doing but I had been regularly blanking for 10 years before my hiatus. I treat fishing more like a form of meditation nowadays.The case is very rigid and closes firmly which is just what you need. I cannot vouch for the longevity of them, but if looked after they should last a long time.For £19.99 at the time of writing this review I think that they represent great value for 120pcs of the classic O'Shaughnessy hook.

Plenty of sharp hooks in various large sizes
I'm not sure why these are getting negative reviews. What you see is what you get here - lots and lots of sharp sea fishing hooks.It's true they are at the large end of the scale and when I'm mackerel fishing I'd probably only be interested in the smallest size in this box, so would prefer more of those that any of the largest ones.My brother-in-law is properly into sea fishing, so if his opinion after using them changes this review, I'll be back to revise.

They wasn't to cheaply made.
The hook metal is not to thin. The hook didn't bend when I got hung up pulling the line trying to break it free. I used 40 pound test line.
