I have a special needs son who cannot write. He has learned to read and is now learning to spell. This keyboard enhances the ability to write CVC words by having the vowels a color different than the consonants. The large letters (lowercase) and numbers that are also a separate color help my son to remember where they are located on the keyboard. The keyboard plugs into his lap top. Having the keyboard lower that the screen makes it easier to operate and see what he is spelling. This keyboard gave my son an opportunity to ‘write’.

Getting this for my son to learn to type on was the best choice I could have made. It is large, but it allows the little ones to see the letters and numbers clearly. It also highlights the vowels. Highly recommend!

This is the best keyboard for teaching upper and lower case letters. The color coding is great for the visual learner. My son has autism and is very visual. Using a typical keyboard he struggled with all the letters in caps - so when teaching him to type it was extremely hard to help with upper and lower case letters. Now he has learned that the colored keys and the need to hold the shift to get an upper case letter works. He is now typing sentences from cards. A huge step for him and he is non-verbal so the visual support is great. Highly recommend this product for anyone needing visual support.

This IS NOT for learning typing. I don't even think the kindergarten teacher would approve. This is not a standard keyboard so teaching kids to remember where letters are won't be teaching them anything. I do not understand the price either. Looks and feels cheap. Is this overpriced because it is for special "needs" people? That‘s PRICE GOUGING. I'm returning it.

Super fast shipping! The first keyboard arrived broken, However, the seller acted in a professional manner and resent a new keyboard out immediately. The seller was terrific! The keyboard has a couple of minor issues with the symbol keys, for instance the #2 key is printed with a 2" but is actually 2@. The key that is printed with @' is actually " 'This is only a minor issue for our family, that we plan to fix with a detail brush and some paint. The keyboard is perfect for our 11 year old daughter who has trouble seeing and our 6 year old son who has Autism. My 6 year old son now asks to do his online school, just so he can use the new keyboard. However, for adults it may be to bulky and hard to speed type. I highly recommend this seller and the product.

My 5 year old son loves this keyboard as it is colorful and fun, easy to use, and very rugged.

This is suppose to be fir children but it is a standard keyboard just huge letters. Kids can see as well as adults. I wanted smaller keys for smaller hands (age 3-5) this is not it

Great keyboard. My who is 6 years old, he enjoys using it. The keys are large and colourful and very easy to use. Suitable for children who have additional needs too.

Losing vision in one eye and with fat fingers and poor depth perception this product was a godsend. Never having been able to touch type the keyboard is what I really needed and the customer service I received when the first keyboard I received was defective was all that i could hope for.
