Neither your typical travelog nor your typical photo homage to Venice. Instead this is an idiosyncratic story of a woman following a particular man on his travels in Venice and photographing him surreptitiously - annotating his movements with meticulous detail even if she isn't equally transparent about her own emotional reactions to the quest. The late winter light adds a bleakness to the photos even beyond Ms Calle's deliberate effort to blur and compress frames. Unique, but odd.

This book is an Experience. Literally taking the reader on a voyeuristic journey.Thought provoking black and white photographs. Treat yourself.

Siglio makes another rich and beautiful book from an iconic and moving Calle project. Particularly good in the hand--now the famous pursuit becomes an elegant noir.

A beautifully made and quality book that feels great in the hand. Very interesting subject matter if it's your thing and the books quality is worth the money.

Lo he comprado porque lo necesitaba urgentemente para un trabajo y no lo encontré en ninguna biblioteca. Lo compré sabiendo lo que compraba en cuanto al contenido así que en ese sentido no me he llevado ninguna sorpresa pero no había visto el libro físicamente y la verdad es que 34 euros por este libro me parece desproporcionado. Supongo que el "ojo" de la portada (calado en el cartón de la portada) y que las pastas sean duras, suben el precio del libro pero aún así...como digo me parece desproporcionado. No obstante, si tú interés en el libro es especial o quieres regalarlo y no te preocupa tanto la relación libro/precio, es un "capricho" recomendable.

Pacco arrivato nei tempi previsti. Il libro è consigliato per gli amanti della fotografia analogica. Un combinato di appunti e foto in.bianco e nero. Misterioso e intrigante. Ma forse non li vale tutti questi soldi.

単なる書籍や作品集ではなく、本自体が作品と言えます。表紙も特別な加工でオブジェのような作りです。単なる本と考えると価格は高いかもしれませんが、芸術作品と考えたら、リーズナブルですね。彼女の一つのプロジェクトが１冊に収められていて、これは他の彼女の本も一緒です。必ず後世に残る素敵なものだと思います。
