The 2nd heating loop quickly plugs into thetop heat exchanger found in either the SolarStor 80 gallon or SolarStor 119 gallon tanks. Thecold return poolloopis controlled by the RESOL controller and a 2nd pump station. If there is heat demandand the solar storage tank's top temperature exceeds the return supply temperature of thehot tub water, then thepump is activated and heat is transferred from thesolar tank's top heat exchanger into a stainless steelhot tubheat exchanger located in thetub's return lines. This waystored energy is transferredfrom thesolar tankproviding energy to thespasystem.
