Now I just remind him of what he read in this book and he tolerate his brother a little better.
I got this for my son. His brother got diagnosed with ADHD and he was getting frustrated with how he keeps walking through his games, eating puzzle pieces and so on. Now I just remind him of what he read in this book and he tolerate his brother a little better.

great book
I read this book to my son who has ADHD. This book helped open a discussion between my son and I about his ADHD and it also normalized the behavior.

Helpful book
This book is helpful to explain ADHD to children and open up a conversation with children. I found this book to be a solid addition to my library.

satisfyingly informative, pleasing to read
Marcus introduces himself and his friend Robby. "Robby has ADHD, which stands for attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder." Each two page spread has a simple yet effective explanation of ADHD which a child can understand, as well as an attractive sidebar ("Did You Know?") which enhances the conversational information. The illustrations are large and engaging, making it a good choice for a read aloud. An informative addendum (What is ADHD?), as well as an index, glossary and bibliography make this an excellent choice for a lower elementary book or research report. My Friend Has Adhd
My son loved reading this story with me. He kept saying "Just like me" when he heard about the things that Robbie would do. I think it affirmed for him that other people have similar experiences like his and that he does not have to feel so isolated from his peers when he is having a tough day.
