Love them
I love these booties they work great at first I went in the water and water came right through the material into the booty and this surprised me because my old booties the only water that would come in was down through the top part around your ankle. I thought this sucks at first the water goes right through. But after using them for the session I ended up really liking that the water came in and went out because it kept the boot secure to my foot instead of having water come in a get trapped and be a big water balloon on your foot because the water had no way to come out. They are still very warm I havent had a day where my feet froze just having the material around your foot keeps them from getting too cold. Also you feel like a ninja when you have them on they are super light weight and have nice grip on the sole. I want to buy a bunch more pairs incase they stop making them I like them so much. Highly recommend these there cheap and just enough material but not too much like some other brands. If your walking over really sharp rocks to go surf you may want something with a thicker sole though. For most jobs this will work just fine.

Well Crafted
They fit! And very warm and flexible. Don't need wax, in fact the wax made them stick too much!

best booties ever
These are the best all-around booties for surfing. They're on the thinner side but have a durable sole. They don't get filled with water. If you are always clambering over sharp rocks you might want thicker soles, but for normal surfing with normal rock-hopping they work just fine. I cut off the velcro strap at the top - if I tuck them under the ankles of my wetsuit I don't have any problem with water bogging. Because of their thinness they also dry quickly. If only they didn't double the price - just ten years ago they cost less than $20.

Size Down
I wear a 10.5 shoe. I got these in size 9. They looked a little small out of the package but fit perfectly. Been surfing with these for a few months and glad I got the size 9. Great boots for chilly San Francisco waters.

Great feel
I pretty much hate wearing booties. At the level of surfing I try and perform at, feeling my toes on my board is crucial. Booties are like condoms, yeah they ruin the flow. I ordered these for my son from a trip up north and ended up wearing them. They fit perfectly, and provided the intimate contact I need to really feel my board. I think they must run large because I wear a 12.5 shoe and these were 11s and they fit great. I venture to say that 12's would have been sloppy and loose.

Good Boots- Sizing Help
Just received these boots and I think they will be great for some of the cold water stuff I will have to do. I found the sizing chart shown on the listing not very clear so guessed at buying a size 8 for my size 9 women’s feet. Fortunately this was correct. The box contained a better chart whichI will try to post here. Hopes that helps future customers:-)

A bit small but well-made
I ordered a men's size 7 as a women's size 8.5 and they're very very snug.... As in a little small. I have really long toes, so this could be part of the issue. They're light and form-fitting, which is nice. If you're picturing tossing these off quickly after getting out of the water, you might want to find a different set of booties. When I say form-fitting, I mean they will stay on your feet until you put all of your arm strength into yanking them off. The plus side to that is that you know they'll be securely on your feet while you're in the water.

Get these for warm toes!
These are my first booties. The sizing was perfect based on one of the other reviews who posted a picture of the booties box and sizing. They were a life saver for Melbourne’s ice cold water. They’re thin and flexible enough to feel like I had no booties on and I could still paddle and jump on the board with no issues. Make sure you wear your booties on the INSIDE of your wettie, otherwise your wettie will drain into your boots rather than drain outside the boot. I am glad I listened to the reviews of experienced surfers who have tried other booties as I was worried I would be investing in something I would not use. I highly recommend these booties. Get them!

Best jikatabi I have worn.
They are extreamly light weight, verry flexable and have great grip. Not good for indoor training, feet wont pivot on solid floor, but great for outside use. I was worried about rocks poking through the thin sole, I weigh 270 pounds and walked normal on on a rock garden with no pain.
