The build quality is fantastic: strong hinges, sturdy plastic, and the lenses are not easily scratched. A relative suffers from constant migraines. He needs to wear these glasses when he goes outside. These are large enough to go over a man's eyeglasses; many similar sunglasses are too small. The side windows filter sunlight really well; many similar sunglasses do not have this feature. These are also very useful after eye surgery.

Very durable and lenses are very clear. Protection from side exposure too. Very lightweight.

I love this kind of sunglasses that fit right over your normal eyeglasses or readers. Just make sure you measure correctly-according to the chart given in the listing. I had to send these back because I measured wrong.

I wish I could give these five stars, but the cool factor has to amount for something, right? That's really my only complaint with these. They are definitely function over form. I'm okay with that, but there needs to be some kind of disclosure.I've never had a problem with my eyes being sensitive to sunlight. In fact, this is only the second pair of sunglasses I have ever owned. My first pair was a prescription pair. Unfortunately, I can't afford to buy two pairs of glasses every time I get my prescription updated. When you have blue light sensitivity, astigmatism, strabismus, and bifocals all at the same time, lenses tend to get a bit expensive.I thought about numerous different solutions, but my optometrist recommended these. At first, I resisted because of the cool factor (or lack thereof). However, there just comes a time when a person needs to do what he or she needs to do in order to keep his or her sanity.It happened on the way to work one morning. I couldn't see the road because of the blinding sunlight combined with a windshield that probably got cleaned the last time I had to drive to work into the blinding sunlight nine months ago. I broke down and ordered these, and I have to say that I'm pretty happy with them. They are lightweight, so it doesn't really feel like I'm wearing anything extra. Plus, the small lens on each side not only allows me to continue to use my peripheral vision while driving, but it also allows that peripheral vision to be protected from the sunlight.These have now become my official driving glasses. However, when I was driving with my nephew last month, I had to make him promise to not laugh at me before I would put them on. Of course, he laughed anyway, but at that point, I think it was more because I told him not to.

We were looking for sunglasses to go over regular glasses and still block the sun while driving through the sides of the glasses. Theses are perfect for that.

As expensive as JP "fitovers" are, it is unfortunate that they don't fit over my normal size men's glasses as well as other brands one-half of the JP price. These are supposed to be aviator size, but they don't clear my Rx frames as well as much cheaper brands. The case is nice, but the premium price is not justified solely for that reason. Quality is good, but not outstanding.

I started having trouble seeing distance while driving. I complained to my eye doctor, and long story short, ended up at a low vision specialist. She recommended these glasses to me for driving. She said they were better than buying a pair of prescription sunglasses, and was she ever right. These things are fantastic.These glasses cut down on the glare and allow me to see very clearly when I drive. Even when I just go outside, they are better than my transition lenses. My eyes don't dry out as much, and I am much more comfortable.It was a very pleasant surprise that they came with their own nifty heavy-duty case and cleaning cloth. They also came with a cord that allows you to hang them around your neck.All-in-all, these glasses are worth the higher price. If you are on the fence, go for it.

Years ago I purchased a pair of original Fitovers to go over my medium size prescription glasses. I'm very sensitive to strong sunlight and regular sunglasses just didn't help. Those Fitovers finally broke a few weeks ago so I came to Amazon to see what they had. I found these. They looked exactly like the pair of Fitovers I wanted to replace. It turns out these were from the original company. I love them. They keep sunlight from flashing through the sides of the glasses or shining down from the top. It's total sunlight protection with perfectly clear vision. It's a fair price for a perfect pair of Fitover Sunglasses. I have the Aviator Tortoise Shell frames with amber lenses.

After using many other brands, these fitovers are by far the best. Used sizing provided, the glasses fit perfectly over prescription glasses.
