Strong burning smell in Optoma HD20:
The description says it is compatible with Optoma HD20, but after installation there was a strong burning smell, and the colors looked wrong. The bulb seems to run much hotter than original OEM part, and there also was missing a UV filter in the bulb housing (just a piece of normal glass?). Not worth it, I returned immediately.

Cheap, bright. What more could you ask for from a bulb? It's great. When it finally dies, I'll definitely order another. I was hesitant due to the cost, but I've got several hundred hours on it now and it's holding up strong.
