Harder than expected
This is a fun game if your child is at least 5-6 years old and can do basic adding and subtracting. The letter games are a bit easier but incorporate so many other things that ends up making them hard. I would say this game should have been rated for kids ages 6-8. It does offer a lot of games but they are just a bit more challenging than we expected.

Not for a 4 year old
I bought this system for my 4 year old for Christmas as his first game system. I originally bought him the Wall.e game (but he got bored with it, so I got him this game). It is way to hard. It asks for a lot of spelling stuff. Like what letter is missing - pick the missing letter for the word. He can't read yet, he has just started learning letters, this is just way to hard for him! He can later grow into it I guess, but I am going to see if their are anymore games for the 3-5 year old group (and what reviews they got).**I wish I would have got a leapster 2(no I do not work for them but I am just disappointed that he is not able to really enjoy these games without my help all the time).

Too difficult for 4 year olds
My 4 year olds love Scooby Doo, so I got them this game, but it's way too difficult for 4 year olds even though the game is rated for 4-6 year olds. My 4 year old twins are in 4 year old Kindergarten, and the math on the easy level of this game is addition and subtraction which is well beyond a typical 4 year old. Don't buy this game if your children are much less than age 6.

Scooby Dooby Gooooood
Scooby helps your child learn numbers and letters in a goofy Scooby Doo way. Roller coaster rides and deep sea doggy swimming are a few of the wacky games your child can play. :)

This was a present for my grand children so cannot really give a true review on how it was in use!
