Awesome Ukulele Capo!
Highly recommend this capo. I cannot believe how good it is.I have an 8-string ukulele and it works like a charm without putting instrument out of tune. If you don't know what an 8-string is like, you may not understand. The strings are in pairs and one string is larger than the other so it's difficult to get them both buzz-free without over-tightening and/or going out of tune. The rubber pad is the perfect density to eliminate buzzing without having to make the capo extra tight. In addition, the capo is so well-designed. It's very minimal and light as a feather. Very unobtrusive. I'm sure it will work great on a 4-string ukulele.

A simple thing, very well done
I picked this cape because of it was so “sleek” in unobtrusive. And it is. I have an Enya EUT-M6 Tenor and it fits perfectly, even though the Enya Tenor has a relatively wide neck. The other capo seemed to prefer larger “lever” type handles and that didn’t appeal to me at all for fear I’d knock them about while playing. The twist-knob design of this capo means it fits closer to the neck of the instrument and I have no concerns of accidentally knocking it out of place. The spring-loaded clip-on design might seem more convenient, but this one is so unobtrusive you won’t really know it’s there. And if you need to change key, it’s a simple twist of the knob, move the capo to the new position, and twist the knob again to tighten. So simple and small and sleek.

Great Capo
I use this on My Favilla Baritone ukulele. It is easy to install and fits the neck perfectly. Small and easy to put in your pocket or case. Doesn't mar the finish.

Best option I've found for a uke capo!
This capo is much smaller and thinner than I thought it would be, plus you can really tighten it up so it doesn't slide around. Also works great on my mandolin. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is because the knob can kind of irritate the crook of your hand while playing certain chords, but that's not a huge deal. I'd previously ordered a spring-loaded uke capo, and it wouldn't stay put for nothing. If you need a uke or a mandolin capo, this is the one you want. I do hope that any future design changes will include moving that knob more forward on the bottom of the capo.

DiAddario / Planet Waves Ukulele Capo is light and easy to use - accurate
I have used so many capos in the past and have always favored Shubb capos because they never die. They tend to be quite heavy though and sometimes harder to maneuver. I have used Shubb faithfully for the past 30 years. Enter Planet Waves and my view has changed. Sometimes simplicity is better.I needed a capo for my Tenor Ukulele (Oscar Schmidt) and I had used the Planet Waves version for my Flamenco guitar. It has not failed me. The little Uke version is awesome and very forgiving. Easy to apply and switch up (change frets) and the thumb screw is easy to operate and placed just right.Great capo. Great design and it just works. Super light and compact. My new favorite.(although my capo was marked D'Addario which is a known name with stringed instrument strings and accesories).

Easy to use and fit my application perfectly
I actually ended up using this ukulele capo on a banjo! I originally bought the Planet Waves NS Banjo capo but unfortunately the neck on my long neck banjo was a hair too wide at the higher frets for that capo, and the 1st string wasn't reached. However, I tried this Planet Waves ukulele capo (which is identical except it is a 1/4" longer than the banjo capo) and it worked absolutely perfectly for me. I took a picture of the ukulele capo that shows its reach at about 1 1/2 inches in case anyone was wondering!

Elegance and Stability in One Small Capo
I bought this lovely little capo to use with my Gold Tone tenor banjo ukulele. While it takes a second or two to install this capo, as opposed to the clip on types, I find it worth the security to spend the time to tighten the screw. I seem to need less retuning than with the clip on capo I have. The profile is pleasantly low so the capo doesn't interfere with playing. The capo fits snugly with no noticeable unwanted string movement and it stays put until it is removed. I like the engineering that the snug nut brings to this capo and it doesn't mar the finish on my banjo ukulele neck. While it is a second or two less convenient than a clip on, I find it stores unobtrusively on the head of my instrument and it still fits well without contacting the hard case so it is always there when I want it but I don't notice it unless I want to (see photo). For me, this makes this little black capo with elegant lines perfect for my needs. I like the extra security afforded by the screw clamp over most clip on models, but this is maybe more a personal preference than a true advantage although to me personal preference can be an advantage at times. I give this smart little capo five stars.

Perfect fit on my Oscar Schmidt OU5's first fret.
I had purchased a G7th Newport, but it kept on slipping off of the first fret of my Oscar Schmidt OU5 ukulele. So I purchased this capo and a Shubb Lite capo, and I'm staying with this one.I'm not really a quick-capo change player, so the screw on approach doesn't concern me and I like that I can control the tension very accurately for the wide changes in thickness along the ukulele neck. The Shubb was a beautiful capo that worked just fine but was a bit hard to play over when I was playing chords near the capo, and as I mentioned before the G7th Newport didn't closely tightly on the first fret.
