This wok exceeded my expectations. It heats up quickly, has good distribution, and makes beautiful stir fry. Since the handle is removable, I seasoned it in the oven like I do my Lodge pans. The trick is to get the wok very very hot, then add cold oil, swirl it around, and then add your food. Cleanup was a breeze as well. It's very non-stick. I'm glad I bought this one instead of the Lodge wok!

I love this wok. It’s not as heavy as other cast iron wok so it’s easier to maneuver it. Non stick if treate it right and super easy to clean.

Heavy for me

Too heavy to use even for the minimum size (32 cm).

I have been stir frying for years using a cheap metal wok bought at the store and got tired of my food burning and not cooking evenly. So, I decided to upgrade to this authentic handmade cast iron wok! I ordered the seasoned one, but still seasoned it myself by frying assorted veggies like onions and carrots, tossing them in the trash, and repeating about 3 more times.What I love is that the cast iron helps distribute heat versus other woks that really only heat the bottom of the wok. It cooks so beautifully!!! It also is super easy to clean!!!It’s a little heavy, but you can’t lighten up cast iron!! LOL! I have already recommended this to several of my friends!

I just received my wok, it looks good, exactly what I wanted but the first use instructions are only in Chinese. I wish they would have them translated.

I was on the fence for months before I finally took the plunge and bought this pricey wok. Wow, imagine my surprise when I found out it was totally non stick on day one! The shape of the wok also makes it very easy to do stir fry. One day I made some fried rice, my son asked if I cooked it differently because it was more flavorful! My only regret is I didn't buy it sooner!

Great pot! I have been following this for a long time, and I have lived up to my expectations. It's beautiful! give me five stars!

Great quality wok. Come pre-seasoned, however I always like to season again. Heat up hot and hold heat well. Only down side is, a bit heavier than a carbon steel wok, but it should be, since it is cast iron. Overall great quality and fun to cook with.
