Great leather couch for an affordable price
Purchased this first in person at Ashley, was able to sit in the store. I ended up cancelling my order and saving money after seeing on Amazon with free delivery. I saw a lot of the negative reviews but decided to roll the dice. I couldn’t be happier. I bought the sofa and love seat for my AirB&B. It looks great, cost effective (because it is real leather for the areas people sit and touch, then uses synthetic material for the sides and back) and still has a classy feel. They are darker in color the I would have liked, but regardless I am very happy with the purchase. I guess the biggest risk is Amazon Shipping. Thankfully it worked out fine for me.

Most uncomfortable Sofa I’ve ever owned
This whole process has been painful and a hard lesson learned. First of all I went and saw this couch at two different furniture stores that carry the Ashley line, sat on it in the store multiple times, and it was comfortable. Bought it with confidence due to Amazons heavily touted “no hassle return policy.” Then everything started going downhill on the day to day of delivery. This couch does NOT use the same fill materials as they used 2 years ago due to supply chain issues, and the Ashley employee admitted as such when I went back after delivery to find out why my couch was so narrow on seating depth as well as being HARD AS A ROCK. The backs are stuffed with twice as much material as the pre pandemic showroom floor version, and it’s not as compressible as the old material. They are using a much higher density foam for the bottom seat cushions, so the back won’t let you sit as far in, (2-3inches) and the bottom is like sitting on a hardwood floor. It’s also (see pics) 3-4 shades darker brown than the floor model and the pictures on Amazon and Ashley’s site. It’s dark chocolate and looks almost black most of the time without the torch lamps in my family room on full. I’m not disappointed or distressed about the color, but that’s a big difference and a deal breaker for some potential buyers trying to match or coordinate colors, so I’m mentioning here to be thorough. The next day is when the fun started, and this issue IS STILL NOT resolved at the point I am writing this. The sofa was delivered on the 8th of this month, and I started the return right after I got home from the Ashley store on the 9th. Today is the 12th and I still don’t have a pick up time from the original carrier designated by Amazon (which is pilot). I upon calling on the 9th to initiate the return I was told the carrier would get back with me within 24 hours to schedule a pickup day and time. I called back the next day when I hadn’t heard back, and I was told I needed to submit a form (they neglected to mention this to me at all on Sunday) and the carrier would get back with me within 24 hours with a pick up time, I have filled that form out 5 times now, and I have verified the information in the fields of the form with Amazon representatives on several different occasions while they were on the phone with me, and it’s been submitted correctly but pilot won’t acknowledge that I have submitted the form AT ALL. I spent an hour and a half on hold on Tuesday and never reached a live pilot representative. As far as Amazon is concerned, they are sorry for the delays but it’s not their problem or fault. Pilot actually hung up on the Amazon representative who is trying to help me when she called them directly. All and all, the end result is, still this evening (12th) no word from pilot, and I’m left with one option that’s available to me, that is to schedule a time with the only other carrier Amazon has for pickup, and that time is no sooner than the 25th! In the meanwhile I HAVE TO USE THIS POS since I can’t fit two sofas in my living room and the one I already bought to replace this (purchased locally on the 10th) I’ve had to cancel the scheduled delivery TWICE. This is what Amazon calls NO HASSLE RETURNS?! Oh, we haven’t even talked about the best part, getting my money back for this. Refunds take up to 14 days AFTER they receive it back in inventory, so let’s do the math, I’m forced to wait until the 25th, plus 7 or 8 days transportation time, plus 14 days for the credit back my card. I will NEVER BUY a piece of furniture from Amazon AGAIN.When you see that great deal on a super couch on Amazon…JUST DON’T!!Update on 06 17 2022Amazon charged me $50 for "return shipping." and deducted it automatically from my refund. They NEVER mentioned to me that when I was requesting for a return, that I in fact was requesting for a prepaid return label. It might have been nice to be informed of this in a straightforward way instead of after the fact when I see the discrepancy of $50 on my return credit.

Comfortable classy sofa
This sofa has a beautiful classic and masculine appearance and is a great fit for my living room. More comfortable than I expected and seems like it will be very durable over time.

Damaged. Would not recommend!
Purchased 3 times. Returned 3 times. Took 3 months. Tried to leave reviews several times to warn others but everytime Amazon refused to print my review. Sofas repeatedly came damaged. So broken that delivery company sent sofas back and cancelled order (2nd order). That is, it was so broken they wouldn't even deliver it! The color looked nice (3rd order) however the back/sides are low quality vinyl that seem too thin to be durable. You can feel the wood frame on the back as there is no cushion/barrier between the wood and the vinyl fabric. The feet are cheap plastic and look too weak to hold much weight. Amazon's furniture return is a nightmare and seeing how I purchased/returned THREE times due to damage should give you some idea of what to expect. Would not recommend.

What I didn't like was that it was no holes to for the legs, I have to look for a drill.

Very nice couch except Amazon shipping is terrible
Couch was very nice and the quality of the structure and materials was high quality. But too bad Amazon is the seller and distributor of this Ashley Furniture product.... When arrives is packaging with is partially and damaged make you question if free shipping is worth it if Amazon has no quality standards. I am returning product to Amazon and going to local Ashley Furniture store to purchase product because after talking to them they price match the ridiculous low price on Amazon and will actually guarantee the quality of product when it arrives.
