The instructions are a bit sparse, with a couple errors, but if you're handy you really don't need them. All the holes are chamfered and pilot holes were already drilled, making assembly easy. I laid all the parts out logically, assembled without screws to make sure everything fit, then went to town with a screw gun. If you have a screw gun, it's a breeze. Total assembly time was 10 minutes. The screws are cheap, but worked just fine.The box is solid and I've been doing step ups/step downs the last few days. Watch a YouTube to get the proper form. Very happy with the product and the cost was not much more than the raw materials would have been.

This box is fantastic! I really lije how sturdy it is and its design. The only complaint I had was putting it together. There were a ton of screws. Other than that, I love this product.

I read a lot of reviews saying it was difficult to assemble or the hardware was junk....not sure what those reviews are talking about, assemble is easy and the hardware had 0 issues. I will say the the paper instructions aren't universal in terms of their pictures but its common sense assembly. The one advise i would give is go a size up from the 16/14/12....if it wasnt going to be a process to return it i would, the size is kind of useless and too small for a male.

I don't know what all the bad reviews are about. I literally put this thing together in 10 minutes with a phillips head bit on a drill. You will need to tap the wood tabs into place with a rubber mallet or hammer with masking tap on it but other than that, it's pretty easy.Also... let's be real... this is just a wooden box with moderate rubbering on each side. If you're expecting some miracle object, than this isn't for you. It's a box with different height sides on it for step and jump training. And it does it's job well!I had no issue with sturdiness but i would recommend placing it on a yoga mat when you use it just in case your floors are slick.

ASSEMBLY AND INSTRUCTIONSIt isn't necessary, but I recommend having a second person to help with the assembly. A screwdriver or drill, however, is absolutely necessary, as the provided tool is useless. Otherwise, the instructions are not complicated. You put some pre-cut wood together, then put the provided screws into pre-drilled holes. Be mindful of the text on the boards when determining which sides you want facing up, and try to not tighten the screws too much until you get the final board to fit in with the rest.WEIGHT CAPACITYIt didn't creak or shift in any way when I did weighted step-ups (total weight: 250 lb.) onto the 20" height. The product page says it can handle up to 450 lb., which seems believable. You could probably increase that capacity by adding more internal support.OTHER FEATURESThere are two handles to make transportation easier, the edges are sanded to be harmless, and there is some kind of textured sheet over the wood to protect it and prevent slipping. While doing step-ups in sneakers, I didn't perceive any risk of slipping.PRICEAt least at the time of my purchase and at the chosen dimensions, there was no product with a better price. I still think premade plyo boxes expensive for what they are, but I thought it was worth the time and effort saved having to collect the materials and make it myself.

The box is sturdy and pretty easy to assemble. I would certainly buy it again. It comes with an allen wrench for the screws and with a few extra screws, which is nice. Note, however, that you should drill pilot holes using a 1/8" bit (or maybe 7/64"). Without a pilot hole, you're likely to strip the screw heads and possibly split the sides. Also leave the sides a little loose before you put in the interior cross braces. Get them positioned, then tighten the sides.Two other minor notes: (1) The grippy surface on one side of my box was slightly defective (see picture), but it is not a big deal. The surface provides a good amount of friction. (2) The printed instructions do not depict the internal cross-braces accurately. The pictures show the end blocks on each crosspiece placed on alternate sides of the crosspiece, but the end blocks are on the same side. This doesn't affect the functioning.

Good solid plyo box. The screwdriver it comes with is basically useless. You will need a drill and soft mallet to finish it. Otherwise, easy to assemble.

Great box, just one note, be careful if you are using this on a rug or some other cushioned surface, it could become unstable. That's not a design flaw as the box is great but I wouldn't use it on anything but a hard surface.

Make sure you have a power screwdriver. Assembly is straightforward and easy but would be super annoying if you had to use a normal screwdriver. Box is as described for use and is stable n
