My grandson loved this book. Great photography, and understandable language.
He definitely was entranced by this book. We read several pages, and will complete it in 3 or 4 readings. He's retaining most of it, but more importantly, he loves it!

My son loved this book. He needed a book that was informational. This book kept him interacting with me and taught him a little more about nature.

Horribly written. Very choppy.

Volcanos and a deathly ending.
Good book except for the last pages at the end that talked about all the various eruptions that killed thousands of people. If you have a kid like mine who is sensitive about death, skip this book or the last pages. Certainly not a book for 2-6.
