I have started collecting and using varietal dried chili powder. This one has a preponderance of bass with just a bit of heat.

Flavor lacks. Not as robust as a real chile
Good for a quick fix but not as flavorful as making it with an ancho chille yourself. Maybe because it's dry powder. Its very easy and cheap. Take a dry chille, soak it in water for 1 hour then use a blender or mortar pestel. You will get double the robust flavor. Marinate chicken with it or make a salsa for chips.
