Melissa & Doug Children's Book - Natural Play Book Tower: Little Nursery Books

Classic nursery rhymes made for little hands to hold. The quality is there.

My 11-month-old grandson was so happy to be able to hold an entire book all by himself. (SO adorable!) The stories are very simple and clear. The pages are very, very thick so there aren't many pages but they're great for the younger crowd who will undoubtedly chew on these books. Cons, I didn't like the cardboard feel of the books. If it had been bleached white in between it would have looked more polished but been less healthy for a baby to chew on, so while it's a bonus to some parents, I didn't like it. Also, I felt that the illustrations were a little too boring. My grandson will look at books for 30 minutes straight -different books. But I don't think he'll look at these pages for more than an instant. That's not a bad thing, because he'll like them just as much, but I thought the illustrations would be a little better for a Melissa and Doug product. The packaging is adorable! Would I buy again? Yes as a gift. No to own.

my 14 month old LOVES these! i bought them for her at 11 months and she didn't take to them until 13 months or so. great, sturdy little books with classic nursery rhymes. she loves to hold them, turn the pages, and (hear me) recite all the rhymes. these keep her happy and busy! can't go wrong with melissa and doug.

I bought these books for our granddaughter's stocking. They are adorable and good quality. Melissa & Doug kids toys/books are great.

books are to hard to get back into box. dull brown box and books. boring

Love this product! Cute & colorful ilustrations, classic little stories. I read them over and over to my 2 month old baby with DS as part of her early start program.

This item is one of my picks this week. You get quite a bit for a low price and that is always good to see. You get a tower that holds all of these books so they won't get lost and scattered all over the house (hopefully) because they can be stored easily in the tower. Your little one gets 10 very nice little books filled with pictures to look at and the book themselves are really durable and sturdy. You can see the books through the tower so if you are looking for a certain one it's going to be easy to spot.
