Exactly what I needed in a very timely delivery!

I was worried after seeing some reviews that it was poor quality. Upon receiving the pouch of dried Koji rice, it clearly says on the package "product of Japan". ive made koji myself and it looks as it should. I also looked up the company and was pleasantly surprised that the company sells many different types of grains. Seems legit.

Great product for those who want to make their own miso pastes. Homemade is well worth the wait.

I used it to make a batch of miso and was very happy with the product.

Product worked, was high quality, and tastes great. Instructions on the bag were vague and contradictory to directions online from most all sources. The fermenting temp on the bag seems way too high so I kept it around what online said, and the addition of extra water was different than online but I still did it. End result I had a delicious beverage that is far sweeter than commercial amazake (not a bad thing, just added more water to drink), but I’ll experiment a bit more to get the ideal ratios for different recipes.

On the back of the bag:1- no information on cooking time, good luck if you are not japanese2- no distinctive information between sake ou Miso recipe....a mess, good luck if your are not a professional Chef.I'am sure this product is surely good for the expert in kitchen.More information = more salesRichard
