Works!
I got the larger size right off the bat because my cat is a very patient and persistent hunter. Over a month and a half now and not one dead bird. She looks so cute awkwardly high-stepping with the bib on! I used to put her in a netted tent, so she loves the freedom of being able to walk around the yard and even climb the fence. I also think it encourages her to stay within the fenced back yard most of the times I let her out, even though she could leave if she wants. It would be difficult to run away from a dog with the bib on.

Works 90% of the time
It has reduced the number of times our cats have brought us bird presents. Nevertheless, it still happens from time to time -- even with bells on the collar to go with the bib. Since neon flashing lights don't fit on the collar as well, I'm gonna just stop there.

THIS really WORKS
My cat loves to kill birds and other animals. A loud bell helped a little until he figured out he could jump on his back paws and grab the birds right out of the bushes. He hasn't killed on animal since he started wearing this bib. He does now get on top of cars to try and swipe them out of the air but no luck so far :) BUY A BIB and save the birds!

Too big! The “clown collar” works better for us.
It was too big for her to be even a little active outside. She had to walk bow legged just to walk otherwise she would trip on it and fall on her face. Sad. It is recommended for outdoor use only. Too hard to make sure she didn’t escape without it. It did not work well for us.

Don't buy RAINBOW color! Or, if you do, flip it black side out when you put it on the cat.
My cat wore this for about 3 hours and came home with a HUMMINGBIRD in her mouth. I contacted the company and they told me there have been reports of the rainbow coloring attracting hummingbirds to it. I was so sad to hear that. Now I flip it around and have the cat wear it black side out and it seems to be working well- she hasn't brought and birds home in the last 4 days of wear (previously she was a one a day bird killer). I've also used big safety pins and attached bells to the edges of the bib to help with warning upon recommendation of the manufacturer. She lost her first bib I bought, so I also got a cat collar that holds an air tag so I can hopefully locate the bib if the collar comes off.

Killer Cat Is Foiled
Our adopted cat was a hummingbird and anole hunter and we needed a solution. She loved our small fenced patio/yard/flower bed area and we wanted her to be able to enjoy it. This bib has worked 100% of the time since we bought it last year. As other reviewers noted, it may need to be trimmed slightly to fit. We did this a small amount at a time to ensure we didn’t diminish its effectiveness. She’s short-legged so we left most of the width and trimmed the length to enable her to get down the steps and walk more normally. She doesn’t seem to mind it much at all, and we do use a break-away collar. She’s only busted out of it two or three times. She sleeps with it on the patio, and plays aggressively with it on. Like another reviewer, we do not need to use it in the winter. Highly recommend giving it a try.

Really large
My cat Dick (not my fault, the other 2 cats named him) hates this thing. Dick is no wimpy little kitty. He's a neutered male offspring of a sometimes feral cat. The bib is so large that he trips over it as he tries to step over it...sad to watch. The material is such that I am going to try to downsize it a bit because I don't think it will fray. The pattern is vibrant and should work, if your cat doesn't kill you in your sleep for making him/her wear it.

It works!
The stray cat that adopted us is, what my wildlife biologist husband calls, an "aggressive hunter" so we got the large bib. We've watched our cat in action around birds and other small mammals and this does the trick at least with the birds. It slows down his approach and messes up his pounce or leap just enough that the birds can escape. Yet he still manages to catch mice in our barn which we want him to do. He's not overly fond of the bib yet he still runs with it on and will climb trees. He also allows us to put it on and take it off pretty easily. As my husband says, "it's an annoyance for the cat, but a lifesaver for the birds".
