Eagle Pack Natural Wet Canned Dog Food, 13.2-Ounce Can (Pack of 12)

Our dog had a number of health issues which were addressed with the vet however she was overweight and sluggish. We started her on this food after trying many others and within a couple of weeks we had our puppy back. She lost weight (we cut back on snack food), loved this one so much we could hide her pills in it every day (no more hamburger or cheese in an attempt to get her to eat her pills) and we could even use it as a treat instead of high calorie unhealthy options. Sounds crazy but it worked/works. She wasn't as fond of the hard food as she has lost teeth and has difficulty with the hard food however the first time we gave it to her, she chowed it down. Her favorite flavor is lamb. Give it a try - we used all kinds of expensive options and found this worked the best!!

My doggies really like this food. It smells meaty and you can see all the veggies it has. It mixes easily into dry food. I love the fact that it's a natural food and doesn't contain any by-products. It smells better than the food I had been using and through Amazon, it costs about the same. I hadn't heard of this brand before and I read the reviews of other brands before selecting this one. Eagle is within my budget and it's obviously produced by a smaller company that has high quality standards. There are no strange looking chunks of unidentifiable stuff in the food. It's finely ground but the veggies are still obvious. I add omega 3 to my dogs diet and I'm not sure whether or not Eagle includes any omega 3 oil in its recipe. If not, then it should. I'm convinced my dogs live longer, healthier lives with the addition of fish oil. Dogs cannot digest any omega fatty acids that aren't omega 3s. You can get fish oil from the drugstore with various levels of omega 3s. My dogs get 700mg in their evening food mixture in two capsules and they never notice or leave the capsules in the dish. It's my healthy trick. All in all, they like this food a lot, but are not finicky eaters. However, I'm convinced they would never eat something that did not appeal to them. I will stick with Eagle for the time being. Surely a natural food is better for them than the mass produced cheap stuff.

*EDIT*The last delivery that came was back to normal. So I guess it really was just one batch that was off?I've been buying this for years and for some reason the last subscription order came SUPER wet. Usually the food solidifies when I put it in the fridge, but this whole batch is so wet that it's still wetter than a freshly opened previous can. It's weird and I'm not sure if it's safe to give to my dog. Did they change the ingredients or production process? I'm skeptical and unsure if the quality is the same anymore...

Got this food for my dog due to the higher ranking the brand carries. When opened, the food had a nasty odor, but I thought it was just the recipe. After having my dog on it for three days, he experienced the worst diarrhea one could imagine. It was so bad I considered taking him to the vet until I got him on a rice-only diet for a couple of days. Makes you wonder if this food is really from this manufacturer, and if so was it bad batches that the seller was trying to ditch through Amazon.

When we first got our dog, my boyfriend (who is in medical school) did hours of research on top wet dog foods. His goal was to get the healthiest food he could without breaking the bank. This is what he found!Eagle Pack wet food is the only thing we've fed our dog since we got him over a year ago. Every shipment arrives intact, on time, and our dog loves it. We get a lot of compliments on how healthy our dog looks and how shiny and soft his fur is. I'm sure this food helps out with that!We are very happy with this food and plan on continuing to feed it to our dog indefinitely.

I have a large dog so I have searched and searched for food without peas (dogs are dying of DCM from eating peas). In the pictures on-line all of this line is pea free. Unfortunately, when I got the box of the Turkey version it does have peas. As of now the Lamb does not. Sadly, my dogs prefer the Turkey to the Lamb.

I have been using this for years to put my dogs medicine into to get her to take it and I just realized it contained carrageenan. This was a huge concern because it can cause inflammation and my dog already has a multitude of health issues so I have now switched to another product that does not contain this ingredient. Otherwise my dogs did like the taste but I cannot take any chances with my dogs health.

My dog has a sensitive stomach and she is obsessed with this food. I wish it wasn't so expensive because then I would buy it for her to eat everyday. Instead she eats the Eagle Pack dry food mostly and has this for dinner. She loves it. She literally picks up the can and brings it to the kitchen. Then when she is done eating it, she brings another but I tell her no.

Excellent dog food and reasonably priced. My Golden [sensitive stomach] really enjoys this food mixed with his dry food. He can be very stubborn when it comes to food, but took to this immediately. The chicken based natural ingredients are appreciated.

My seven year old cockapoo enjoys this natural lamb canned food.. She is a picky eater at best, but accepts this food quite happily. It's only second place to cat food, which is her very favorite !!
