Fairmount Curved Cross Chisel Hammer Wood

This is my new favorite hammer. At 1/3 the cost of my old Matco, this is a great deal. The handle is nicely made and finished, and is good and tight in the head.The only nitpicky complaint I have about it is that the chisel end comes painted, which starts to chip off as you use it. I simply sanded the paint off the last 1/2" and then no problems.

Price is great for the quality of the hammer head. However, the handle required sanding to knock down ridges and rough spots. It’s now very comfortable. This issue would not stop me from buying another one.
