I use in public without insert, but Im going on plane soon so I will use particle filter. This isnt pro protection (not designed for it), but Im assuming its better than nothing. I only have experience with disposable surgical masks, it is less breathable than these with filter and more breathable than these without filter. The mask has a bonus that it doesnt fog up my glasses as much as surgical masks do. You also get 3 + 20 filters. Dissappointingly, all product numbers and instructions are in chinese. I have no idea if Im adding filter right but at least its between my face and the outside world.graphics would be better as you could ship anywhere without worrying about language.

I ordered mine April 5 th arrived April 18 th from California. Made in China. I sprayed package with Lysol waited half hour opened then I sprayed lysolFabric spray on masks and filters let dry coupleHours til I tried on youCan never be to careful. The mask fits great I do find it is holds in the heat From breathing but I feel that it is worth the money. I also was receiving shipped but no tracking information. Then the masks showed up.

This item comes from China 100%. Seller is sneaky. They will create a shipping label within a few days after you order. You think your order has shipped. IT HAS NOT. Only a label has been created but you get a notification that your order has shipped. Seller claims this is FDA approved. IT HAS NOT BEEN FDA APPROVED. Seller claims a lot of things but none of the claims are legitimate. This is just a face mask for looks. Functionality on a scale of 1 to 10 is around a 2. For COVID-19 in the USA this mask will comply with certain mandates to "cover your nose and mouth". That is about it. This mask provides no viral or germ protection. Seller has multiple Amazon accounts where these are sold. When one account receives too many bad reviews, seller abandons that account and moves on to the next account. Recap, to comply with mandates to cover nose and mouth, this works, it's just for looks. If you want this to function and protect, this product will not meet expectations. Buyer Beware. You can usually tell where these items are by simply reviewing the name of the seller. Also read the comments/answers from the seller. Dead give away.

After purchasing this mask (and receiving it 5 weeks later), I realized that only masks WITHOUT vents should be worn to protect others from COVID-19. In fact, some cities are banning the use of masks with vents, because they defeat the purpose of wearing the mask. The mask is supposed to block your respiratory droplets from reaching other people, but if it has a valve, then it's allowing your breath to escape. So, although this mask may work as intended (to filter out pollution in the air), it's not meant to be worn for COVID-19 purposes.

Everything is taking longer than expected and so did this item. The mask I received has more of a satin sheen which is lighter than traditional cotton. That was unexpected but it might be nicer as we transition to Summer. There is no metal or anything in the nose area to shape that to my face, which is my only complaint. It washed well inside a garment bag.

Took a while to come which is understandable.. it’s a bit small but perfect for me .. Nothing like the actual pic.. the filter pockets are a bit small so u will have to fold to get them in., it’s comfortable for me .. it will get the job done
