I looked at a lot of knock-offs of the B&W style hitches, some at really great prices. I finally decided that a car or tractor on a trailer was worth more than saving a few dollars on Chinese imitation hitch. B&W stuff is built like a tank.

UPDATED REVIEW:Although this hitch has worked great for my the past couple years the rating is 1450 tongue and 14500 gross trailer weight.For $10 more you can get a Bulletproof hitch rated for 3000 tongue and 22000GTWFor $60 more you can get the 6000 tongue and 36000GTWThe bulletproof hitches are not stow away but if you need higher rating capabilities they will be the way to go.ORIGINAL REVIEW:The hitch itself is such a great design, I can tow everything I have and the stow away is nice so you don’t take out your shins.Second time ordering this hitch, first time they sent the wrong one but everything was easy with Amazon just took an extra 9 days to get.

Will never use the old standard hitch again! Easily adjustable and can swing the ball to the back side without removing the hitch so you don't hit your shins on the ball. Get this hitch and a locking hitch pin and never worry about having it stolen

I got this hitch specifically for my new truck on order. I needed an 8” adjustable drop hitch for all the trailers I pull. I had the curt 45900. Awesome heavy duty hitch.The big thing here is that at an 8” drop, every other hitch out there is around 75lbs and not nice to look at. I ordered this one, being the nicest quality hitch. When I got it, I was impressed with how heavy duty it really is. I was also concerned that it would be really clanky when towing. Though I’m still waiting for my truck to arrive, simulating the tow movement showed little movement in the hitch components. Really looking forward to towing with this hitch.Side note, if you’re looking at 2.5”+ shank, the price of 450 is such a steal, you’d be crazy not to try this one out first.
