Hilltop Honey - Bulgarian Coriander Honey - 340g

Absolutely adore this honey you can taste the coriander its not an in your face taste its just right. I use this all the time especially as a sweetener to a sauce and you only need a little bit...its awesome

Really lovely honey. Can taste the orange blossom very subtly. You don't need to use much however, as it's very sweet. I used mine in carrot cake muffins with coconut cream frosting 🥕🥕

Being a bee-keeper, I appreciate the work that goes into making a pot of honey. I'm not talking about 90,000 miles that bees travel to collect sufficient pollen to make a pound of honey or the nine worker bees who never leave the hive to process the pollen in strict production line order to ensure the colony has sufficient nourishment to last the winter. I am referring to the inordinate amount of time it takes to harvest the frames, remove the wax caps, extract the honey using a centrifuge, purify and put in jars. My one hive is only sufficient to produce a few jars each year and I supplement this by purchasing interesting and unusual honey from different places. This Bulgarian coriander honey is certainly a bit different. I get a faint taste of the coriander and it is possibly sweetened post harvest with added sugar (as is usual for some types of runny honey) as it tastes sweeter than most domestic honey. Having said that, it is good value and well packaged and makes an interesting variation to the standard commercially available honey in the UK.

I use this all the time as I have a condition called variant cough asthma it helps me use it all the time in drinks and yogurt. Thanking you kindly for speedy delivery.

Bulgaria produces large amounts of honey - apparently it has the perfect conditions for honey. This is a very high quality honey and represents good value. NIce flavour - rich and not too sweet

I can’t say I particularly notice any orange flavour, but I do like the taste of this runny honey very much. Sweet and delicious.
