Amazing Personal EKG at home!
My cardiologist and my electrocardiologist are spending their time telling me the Apple Watch is not good enough to provide any insights. They told me they need to see at least 2 leads from a medical device. My electro cardiologist recommended Kardia. Looking for it, I discovered this wellvue device, I liked the fact there are 2 leads and wires so I could plug them on my body before working or doing a webinar.I was trying to catch the “boom” happening in my chest since years but also the recent tachycardia events. We were not able to find any so far even with EKG. I started to put the pads and do some sessions 5 min for an entire hour to catch something during stressful days. It was really quick detect the “boom” and I was lucky also to catch a big tachycardia attack.Once you catch an event, you just need to activate Bluetooth to transfer to your phone. Each session of 5 min is around 10MB so it’s taking long to transfer. Once transferred, I was able to detect premature beat on my ECG. I clicked AI to analyze with artificial intelligence and the analyze shows Sinus PAC events and Sinus Tachycardia.I had a meeting with my electro cardiologist and she was amazed by the quality of the signal. She told me this device was amazing and the app too. She was able to detect the events and do the same analysis.I’m so grateful I took this device and my cardiologist too. They are now treating the condition with beta blockers.I have to say that in the past, they made me wear a holster monitor for one week, plugged into my chest and it didn’t capture the events, so I’m really grateful I took the decision to buy that one.The device is very small, well designed, the battery is very good and the cable robust. So far, amazing device. I can transfer the results in Bluetooth to my iPhone and then send via PDF to my email as needed. The plus is the AI analysis on the app, totally free, no subscription needed.

Great device for reading ECG's at home!
Overall, I'm very happy with this device. It comes with everything needed to record ECG's - device, cable, spare pads, case. I'm a retired paramedic & RN, with 30+ years of experience taking and reading mostly 2-lead and 12-lead ECG's. So far, all interpretations provided by the app match up with my own professional opinion. (This device only records in leads I and II, but the app interpretation is similar to what I've seen on 12-lead devices.)With that being said, this device must be used with an app (free on Google Play). The app wasn't too difficult to navigate, though there are some minor issues they could fix to make it a little more user-friendly. After running a 5-minute check using the pads, I was impressed with both the clarity of the ECG tracing and the interpretation. You can assign 2 individual users on the app, plus the option to check others not assigned. All ECG's can be saved and printed. You can also do a faster ECG check by just holding the device. However, there was a lot more artifact present in these tracings. It was good for a quick look, particularly if you're just wanting to check rhythm regularity or determine if a "missed beat" was a PVC. If you want a more detailed view, the pads should be used.I purchased this as my wife and I are traveling more, particularly to remote areas. This device is just another tool to help us determine if a trip should be cut short to search for more definitive medical care. It will also be helpful to show a MD a good tracing of any odd heartbeats that may sporadically occur.

Pretty professional looking
The tracing is very adequate to read cardiac rhythm, if you are experienced at reading ECG tracings. The supplied pads are disposable, but re-use nicely if this is for personal use. Good to have around the house, like a pulse oximeter.

A Good one lead ECG
Wondering if I had a heart issue I purchased the Pulsebit EX to try and understand what might be wrong. The unit gives several ways to set up the ECG and I found using external leads gives the clearest read. The unit simply states normal or abnormal heart rhythm but does not detail the specifics or diagnose the pathology. To learn how to read my ECG I went to YouTube and the Ninja Nerd channel that teaches medical students. After days of ECG lead vector analysis fundamentals and specific training on common pathological ECG presentations I realized I had a P wave issue and lots of PVC waves called bigeminy. In addition I watched the videos on congestive heart failure due to my ankles swelling up badly and severe shortness of breath (thank you Dr. Google). This whole process took me two weeks to accomplish because I had to watch each of the videos several times and review my video notes daily. I'm not big on going to doctors but after using the Pulsebit EX and seeing my ECG's After self diagnosis of A Fib causing congestive heart failure I quickly made an appointment at a walk in clinic, however, after an ECG they sent me directly to the ER which then did another ECG and then admitted me to the hospital due to Atrial flutter/fib, resting heartrate of 120, congestive heart failure, shortness of breath and an elevated BP of 160/110. I ended up needing electro cardioconversion to correct my pathological heartbeat and 6 months later my ECG, done by my cardiologist, is still normal. I also use the Pulsebit EX to check my ECG once a month. I was able to get hundreds if not thousands of dollars of medical information using the Pulsebit EX and YouTube Ninja Nerd channel. I believe Pulsebit EX is a great tool to you help understand your cardiac health or lack thereof.
