Urban Ministry: An Introduction

This reading is very straight forward, easy to read and understand. I would recommend this book to anyone that is serious about making an impact in their community of service. The writers ideas, recommendations and warnings are of great value to anyone that is participating in the building up of God's kingdom and caring for his people.

What an eye opener.

For someone who is speaking at length about about making the gospel (among other things) accessible to the poor and/or undereducated this book was overly wordy, the author comes across as pretentious and was repeatative in a way that did not help clear up anything that was being said. Read it for a course.
