Pirogue Unisex Orthoheel High Density Gel Slide Sandals

Starting off I made the straps too snug and my foot kept moving. Emailed the wonderful company who were so kind. But I finally figured out by myself, not to make them snug and your foot will just find it's spot! I have plantar fasciitis... Great shoe!

The lesson learned here is to not to buy shoes off Amazon unless they have free returns.I think, if the sandels were any good they would offer free returns.on these sandals they were,Way too narrow, hard stiff plastic.This is the most uncomfortable pair of sandals I’ve ever tried. I bought the next size up and the shoe was super narrow, it just would not fit my foot, unless you have a long narrow foot, these are not the sandals for you. Plus they are made with a hard stiff plastic with no flexibility whatsoever. They reminded me of some cheap sandals you buy at the 99 Cents store, they look good but they’re just not comfortable. I do not recommend these sandals to anybody.

Yes! Thank you, thank you! I usually use an orthotic insert in my shoes, and was in search of a sandal to wear in the house without the orthotic. I stumbled across these and this is the closest slide I have found that fits the bill. I have an arch on the higher side & narrow to medium width foot due to slight bunions. I would say this sandal in M width runs on the side of narrow. Birkenstocks (the insole is similar to Birkenstock) do not have a high enough arch and Vionics have an arch that is too high. I normally wear a 10 1/2 in New Balance, but lately, a lot of shoes have been running large. I ordered a 10 1/2-11, and it fits perfectly. I can tighten the straps enough for my narrower foot. The slide has a bit of rebound/resilience to it and little suction cups on the sole for wet surfaces (if you're using them poolside). My only wish is that they came in more colors--even tan, to go with everything. I'd order them again.

Unusually well made shoe...fits my instep like a glove...will buy more and would love if these could be made of other colors beside blk and blue. Just because I have big feet doesn't mean I don't like color...

I used to wear Birkis Haiti - heavy construction, pebbled insole, heavy straps. Pairs would last 10-13 years. They stopped making them in that manner. The new style lasts months, breaks down quickly (cheaper all around). Saw these GP Pirogues. Better than the original Birkis. Insole has give, "suction cups" give traction, no sign of wear yet. I have wide toes, narrow heel. Adjustable straps accommodate arthritic changes in one foot. Not loose. Impressed, bought a second pair. GP has a fit guide for each shoe with detailed descriptions on their website.

I have these shoes for 2 months now and I only wear them inside the house. I have been wearing them the entire time and never wear them outside. While they are comfortable to wear, I don't see why they would cost $40. Are they better than any other shoes that have the same support? As you can see from the photos the bottom starts to wear out even though I only use them in house.

These shoes are SPECTACULAR! I wear them around the house because they are WAY more comfortable then being barefoot, but they are sturdy and are a breeze to clean after outside use. The Velcro on the straps is wonderful for people who suffer from swelling in the feet, and it is GOOD Velcro. I can't praise these shoes enough, frankly. If walking on a supportive marshmallow appeals to you, then these are a must have. The only thing I would change would be to develop more colors and styles. My husband, my father, and I all are wearing the same blue shoes but our feet are in heaven.

Love these sandals. I have a lot of food pain and have spent way too much money looking for relief. This shoe bed is amazing. The only problem is this is their only style with this foot bed🙁they did say next year new styles,I will be the first to order🤩
