If you are wondering if the mat is worth the expense over the wire rolls, the answer is a resounding YES! After doing our kitchen amd bathroom with the wire, I told my husband we either get mats or he hires out the next job (our dining & living rooms). The thickness of the wires took me a little aback (we've only ever used 110 V in the past), but so far zero complaints. Goes down easy, and stays down because the whole mat is sticky.

I enjoy working with my hands and so decided to tackle this project myself. There were a few testing moments but overall it went well. One thing that I'd do differently next time is to spend a little more time planning, if I had done so I could have avoided a few unnecessary cuts and saved some time. I had already purchased a OJ Microline thermostat so I was able to complete installation and tested it after 24 hours........it's only run for a couple days now but the family is already loving it.
