Great product
The sprinkler was great. Does a nice job, with large coverage area. Heavy metal sprinkler doesn’t tip and stays put.Value deal

Sprinkle a thin line
well-built and I love how thin I can set the sprinkle limit. That's one big reason why I bought it. The sturdy material also but the yard on both sides of the house are no more than five feet and the Joe keeps the water within the limits of the yard unlike many other sprinklers. It also has a nice weight to it so it doesn't move or flip like plastic sprinklers.

Finally an oscillating sprinkler that covers the amount of SF it says.
I had been struggling for a while to find an adequate oscillating sprinkler that covers 4000 sf. I had a Melnor XL and it covered 4000sf but it stopped oscillating after about 10 minutes. I had 2 smaller Aquajoe sprinklers that worked great but they were too small. But then I found this guy and decided to try it. Works like a Champ! and 2+ yr warranty. they replaced one of my smaller ones once without question too so the warranty is good!

Well built quality sprinkler
Mostly metal except where it connects to hose. Great water coverage as advertised. Going to buy a second one.

Working as designed
This sprinkler is non-serviceable and designed to fail, and it works as designed (it fails!). I was actually very happy with the coverage of this sprinkler, but in only lasted one season. Seems kind of stupid that the blue adjusters can't be adjusted for full range though. Mine was still covered under the 2-year warranty, but much more satisfying to break the sealed gear house apart and find out why this thing failed. Internal gears are all plastic, but none were stripped. The problem is the plastic piece that bridges the stationary body vs. the oscillating portion - it sticks and prevents oscillation. Looks totally dry. Not sure lubricant was ever applied during factory assembly, or if it simply washed out. If you have one of these and it stops oscillating, you could try removing the debris screen / rubber washer at the hose inlet, and spray the internals with a liberal dose of silicon spray. If it penetrates deep enough to reach the failed part, it may get you going again. Too late in my case, LOL! Never use petroleum products (i.e. NO WD-40) on anything with rubber, especially O-rings. Natural rubber will swell when petroleum-based lubricants are applied and you'll be worse off than when you started.

quality/cost
Decent and powerful sprinklerWell built sprinkler that truly covers a lot of ground. I only wish you could control the width of the water cover however this is imo the best value for this type that I've had over 20 or so years

breaks after one year
I've bought one every year but, sadly it stops oscillating after one year. I buy it only because of it's many reviews but, this won't happen again. will try different brand.
