So Far, So good
I was hesitant to purchase this because some reviews stated theirs arrived damaged, Thankfully I didn't have this issue ( no holes, no tears, no bent frames). at first, the set up was a little more hassle than I thought it would be, My boyfriend and I began to get snippy with each other so we decided to walk away and take a 15 minute break. after our break , we regrouped and then it went a lot smoother. This is covering a small patio and it works perfect. I've only had this a month. within that time we've only had one day with high winds (for a couple of hours) and although this stayed in place , it barely stayed in place , I added more stakes but all of the stakes were out the ground when the wind calmed down (no fault of the canopy- My soil is on the soft side). I don't think it would have withstood another gust of wind. I have some sand bags on order and I hope that will solve the issue. over all I'm very happy with my purchase. 1 tip - place foam pool noodles or something between the bars near the top of the frame to prevent the top from collecting rain & sagging.

Nice canopy! Great customer service
This canopy is very nice. I love the design with the awnings. It came in slightly damaged (storage bag scuffs, and broken link on one of the support poles) However, customer service took care of the issue and I look forward to using this canopy for years to come. The main frame and canvas seems sturdy. It's a little tricky getting it set up... lots of teamwork but I expect this will get easier with experience.

Fabric seems thinner than previous ones I've owned
Would probably give 3 1/2 stars if I could. This is the third one of this model I have owned. The other 2 were destroyed by the wind after a few years. All of them very difficult to put up. This time I screwed the legs down into my deck and had better luck this summer. Also left the top open hoping it would not lift as much. My main complaint with this one is that the fabric seems thinner than previous ones. Heavy rain pools the water. As a result the fabric droops a little more by the end of the summer. Still fine for shade but not as good to keep rain off the top. Frame has held up.

Bad design / Poor workmanship / Cheap feel / Not able to handle even minor winds
I bought this product for a 1 week beach vacation in NC.I've owned similar awnings over the years. I usually pay less than $100 for the awnings. I take them to the beach every July. I generally don't use them any other time. I set them up in the morning, and take them down in the evening. When I return home I thoroughly wash them and air them out to remove any salt and sand. I expect to get at least 5 years out of a basic awning. That's been the case in the past.I decided to buy this because of the extra shade it provided, and I liked the overall design. The package arrived quickly, but I didn't set it up before the trip. I opted to wait until I got to the beach to set it up. That was a mistake. My overall impression when I opened the awning was that it felt cheaply made. The canvas was very thin and the metal frame was not at all beefy. Overall, the entire thing seemed pretty fragile. The first day I setup the tarp, both collapsible awnings failed. When I attempted to slide the support pole onto the bracket, 2 welds gave out. The entire end-piece snapped off. At that point, both awning extensions were completely useless. There appeared to be a lot of rust under the weld. Since the awning extensions just flapped in the wind, I tried to use the existing snaps to attach them to the poles. Once of the snaps ripped off within about 2 hours due to some pretty minor winds. When I put the awning back in it's case, the side of the carrying case split. There was a 2 ft tear in the case, which I'm sure will be a problem in the future. The rest of the awning basically held up for the week, but I don't anticipate getting more that 1 more trip out of this awning. It's pretty lightly built. It definitely won't stand up to any serious weather.Unfortunately, I can't return this item, because my return window has passed.

My 2nd one
I bought this canopy 8yrs ago I believe and it has served me well for years. Beach trips, park events, kids sports events, home parties. It has been well worth the money. My original finally broke from a huge thunder storm that came by and I didn’t put it away in time and it got bent up. I’m still able to use it but it will never collapse again. I still need a travel canopy for all those thing I mentioned so I bought another one. The only thing I can ding it for is it is heavy but manageable. Photos are from the old canopy.
