1. All our water lily Bowl lotus flower seed already to open the shell, it will much easy to germination and grow up. 2. Soaked seeds in 30 degrees warm water, changing the water twice a day, high temperatures, sprout fast, generally more than 20 degrees, 3 days to week germination. (Can germinate round all year ) 3. Make sure the sun is enough, the most appropriate place garden and roof, it will grow up much faster in the warm place. 4. With a pot of some fertile soil, add water, stir into a paste, stir well, the surface of the water drained. 5. Inserted the germinated seeds into the soil, make the leaves revealing the soil, then add a few centimeters water, and increase the water level when it grows up. (Note: Be sure to clean the debris in the water on time)

Fun to grow for gardeners big and small
Delivery and packaging greatThey are fun to grow - I waited until the weather became warm enough to grow on the windowsill as they need hot temperatures to germinate. But would be fun for kids -I put one or two at a time in beer glasses topped up with water and within a week the shoots are coming. Once they are big enough I transfer them to a glass with a handful of compost in the bottom and cover with water so the shoot is out of the water, then keep topping up the water. In a few weeks the first had the familiar kidney shaped leaf. I measured the length of the stem and the depth of the pond so I could ensure the seed/ roots would be in the mud and leaf at water level.I’ve started about 4 off at a time. Some seeds ‘floated’ at first ( so I put in another that didnt float to ensure at least one was live) and didnt germinate hence the 4stars

An impulse buy that turned out well
I was searching for regular pond lilies when I stumbled across these. For the cheap price and origin I was pretty dubious. However the reviews seemed OK so I decided on a punt because I like growing interesting things. The results so far are very good. Most (but not all) of the seeds I've immersed have sprouted. Once growing I've planted two in a breakfast bowl in aquatic soil under gravel and submerged them in large (30cm) white porcelain pots. They seem very happy in there and are continuing to flourish.I use my loo as a grow room so it has decent lights in there. I have a pot each side of the throne at the back and am just waiting for them to flower. Not sure if my pots are large enough to accommodate lotus plants once fully grown - I'll just have to go by trial and error.

Germination nearly 100%
I wanted to purchase lotus rather than water Lily but could find any online live plants so I thought I’d have a go with seed. Amazing! These seeds had 100% germination and so far growing very well. Cant wait to get them on display!

Many small insects seem to have eaten some seeds
I got the parcel yesterday and opened it today and there were many small insects. It was gross and risky, if any of the insect escaped into my kitche. Plus I don't know how many of these seeds will grow.

Great seeds.
10 out of 30 have sprouted. I'm happy with those odds. They came prepared to soak, no need to scratch off the top.Still early days but it's been nearly a week and they're growing great.Just soaked them in pond water, changing the water everyday. Once they're 6" or longer I'll be planting them in part clay, part pond soil and hope for the best
