I read the ingredients and nowhere does it say wild yam, I even checked for the scientific name dioscoria, so if that's what you're looking for I'd avoid this. The description on Amazon is nowhere on the box or jar. It has a rosy flowery scent that is not too overpowering so if you prefer scented creams you may like it but it maybe could irritate sensitive skin. The ingredients list mainly flower and plant extracts. I ordered two jars because price is very good and one of the seals was slightly torn open upon receipt but didn't look used, the other was sealed. I chose to return because I have sensitive skin and am sensitive to strong scents.

I have only used this product less than a week but so far it is a fabulous moisturizer. It is lightweight and feels really good on my skin. I do use makeup and noticed how much better my makeup looks. Am anxious to see what long term usage will I see on my face. You don't need much as it goes on easily and absorbs quickly. So far, I love it !

I was really looking for a wild yam cream when I saw this face cream advertised on Amazon. The heading says that it's 'lifting and firming' although the blurb only claims to 'plump and firm, visibly reducing deep lines' which isn't quite the same as lifting.However, I bought it and I must say, this product is beautifully packaged - both the box and the tub get a definite five star from me. The cream is nice to apply, with a faint citrus smell. After use it leaves my skin feeling pleasantly tingly.After one week, my skin definitely looked plumper, and developed a soft, healthy bloom. After three weeks there really was an improvement - such that my boss, who hadn't seen me for a fortnight, said 'Gosh, you're looking well, Jennifer'. After one month, my skin was looking very much better. Small lines are much improved and I think the deep lines around my mouth may be slightly improved.The tub lasted four months with very liberal use - it's really great for wrinkly hands and to die for on your feet after a soak.I've given this cream five stars because, in addition to the wild yam, it's a lovely product to use and the tub is so pretty, and although I have to watch my budget, I purchased another which lasted seven months with daily use. The improvements continue, slow and steady, but there. I'm now on my fifth.Suitable for those looking for a natural product - paraben and colourant free, with wild yam which is so useful if you're post-menopausal.
