I ordered the 333 piece (king size) fox puzzle for myself for Christmas 2023. I finally had the chance to put it together (May 2024), and it took concentration that I have never had to give to a puzzle. The only guide that comes with it is the wood box cover. The outer edges are outlined in bold dark lines, no other distinction. It is indeed wood, and the picture is printed over it. Certain individual pieces have additional designs cut into them to add detail.One of the star flowers on the right side of the fox is a daisy shape. Some of the special shapes are put together using more than one piece. The signature of the company is incaseed in a circle made of puzzle pieces just below the center of the puzzle.After putting it together, I don't want to put it back in the box. I am not one to glue a puzzle together after putting it together once, this one is an exception.

It's different, and it was a lot of fun

This is not your normal puzzle, bought it for my nephews for Christmas and ended up keeping it for myself. Colors are vibrant. The pieces are shaped different than any puzzle I’ve ever worked before makes a great gift.

This has to be one of the most satisfying puzzles I've ever done, and I say that as someone who once did a 10,000 piece jigsaw puzzle for fun. (I really like puzzles, okay?) This one is nowhere near that size, but the shapes of the pieces are all unique and so perfectly cut that slotting them in place is incredibly satisfying. I thought that I was going to burn through this because of the size, but the shapes and colors of the pieces actually made me slow down and appreciate it all the more. You can definitely do it in one sitting once you hit a rhythm, but the pieces really do invite you to slow down and admire them on their own. There are special pieces in the puzzle, some of which the makers were upfront about (the different animal shapes) and some of which were a surprise (the mini version--!! that was so cool to find!). Honestly, my only complaint is that there aren't more of these. I already bought the owl and the fish, and I'm sure I'll be back as soon as more become available. Really hoping a dragon makes its way into the lineup!

I enjoyed the challenge of putting the puzzle pieces together. Also, some have said there were pieces missing, but I think it is because the pieces are small so it is easy to misplace them. All the pieces were in the two I ordered.

We bought this puzzle because we have a thing for foxes, and this puzzle is more a piece of art than a puzzle. The pieces are very small, are difficult to assemble, and come out easily (do not snap into place). But the finished product is well worth the effort, and the difficulty of assembling just adds to the challenge of puzzle making.

I only recently started doing jigsaw puzzles, not long enough to find them boring or repetitive. Working this puzzle I knew it was remarkable and can only imagine how delighted a true jigsaw fan w/hundreds of puzzles under their belt would be. As many others have mentioned the pieces are beautiful and the piece shapes are amazing. When we were done w/the puzzle we flipped it over and you can see each shape distinctly. Very cool! The packaging looks and feels luxurious and this would make a thoughtful, memorable gift for a jigsaw fan who appreciates beauty, quality and a unique challenge. I’m not easily impressed but I couldn’t be happier w/this purchase. It’s pricey for a jigsaw puzzle, but like a cashmere sweater it’s worth it. This is a puzzle we’ll enjoy putting together again and again.

Since we were first time wooden puzzle-ers, I bought this one in the medium size and one from a different company in the large size, as the other company's wooden puzzles were cheaper, with cheaper being the key word. We absolutely LOVE these puzzles. Looking forward to ordering more from them in the future.

Came as described in box as presented with all pieces and even the company logo piece on top... Girlfriend enjoyed putting together. Doesn't hold together as well as traditional jigsaw, u hit that's just in the design of these. Nice looking, and good gift option

Superbe puzzle qui nous a fait passer beaucoup d'heures dessus! Le résultat est top et le puzzle est magnifique. Les pièces ont des formes originales et donnent du fil à retordre pour pouvoir les assembler. Il faut prendre le temps et avoir de la patience, mais quel plaisir pour le résultat obtenu. Petit défaut : la boîte qui est très soignée ne ferme pas bien. Nous avons mis un ruban pour être sûrs qu'aucune pièce ne s'échappe. Nous avons pris le royal size mais un king size aurait largement suffit pour les novices que nous sommes ;).

I love these puzzles, I have anxiety and the attention to detail and wonderfully shaped pieces really help to distract my mind and keep me calm. This particular one was a real pleasure to do.

a very unusual jigsaw puzzle. If the pieces fitted more snuggly would be perfect.
