Greenwood Essential Pure Flax Seed Oil is a carrier oil that has no scent so it won't disguise or block the scent of essential oils added to it. I've used this flax seed oil with peppermint and eucalyptus drops. This mixture helps with my asthma issues during the winter on cold, windy days. I use the mixture in my steamer to help with my breathing, in my diffuser to make the air feel cleansed and on my chest and wrists to help also. I think it's reasonably priced and comparable to other brands of essential oils.

I add this to my carrier oil and use on my skin. I interchange my routine in which oils I use each day but I keep coming back to this more often because it make my skin softer and moisture lasts longer when I use this. I also add to my hand cream to keep my hands soft.

I know all carrier oils come with many benefits but I was hoping this one in particular would help with my wavy and a little bit curly in some areas hair. I know how flax seed gel helps with clumping. This didnt have the effect I wamted on my hair and set on it. I do think I have low porosity hair so maybe that factors in. It works well as an essential oil carrier though.

This is on the higher end of the cost side of things. That doesn't make it bad it is what it is more expensive then some other brands.I like using this in my hair, lots in the summer, when its high hair damage season! No scent, and doesn't mess with hair dye (at least the salon product I do not know if box kind would be affected)In general this isn't terrible.

Greenwood essentials makes really good essential oil and carrier oil. This pure flaxseed oil is no exception. It has no odor which is perfect for a carrier oil. It’s really easy to blend in other essential oils. I took off one star because the inner cap must be removed and an inner dropper cap must be placed. This can be messy.

I am pretty familiar with the Greenwood line of oils. Many of which I’ve used and benefited from. The majority of their oils are very good.Flax seeds have many uses, benefits and forms. I’ve used flax seeds to make hair gel. Flax seeds are loaded with nutrients however you use them.There are several uses and benefits of this oil which is high in omega 3 and other nutrients.I personally use it to nourish my skin and hair although it can also be taken orally although not something I have tried.The flax seed oil ( or linseed oil which it is sometimes called) came in a screw top bottle with a dropper. The oil can be also used in dressings, margarine and even orally. Although I’m not sure if this one can be consumed as it doesn’t state that on the page description.I mix the oil with my other oils to make a hair care product, but it can be used alone and does not need a carrier, but it can be mixed with aromatherapy oils for a soothing massage etcI found that it left my skin and natural hair very hydrated and supple.I hope you found this review helpful

I absolutely love this company's unusual range. Most aromatherapy companies offer a generic range, some offer a slightly wider range, but I have not come across a company that offers anything like the exotic and unusual range as this one does.The only point I would like changed is the lack of a couple of bits of detail on the bottle itself. For example the amount of liquid contained within in the bottle is detailed on the packaging and not the label of the bottle. As packaging is usually discarded, this means that particular information is lost with it.The bottle is sealed with a plastic stopper which is easily removed and the accompanying European dropper can be put in its place.Flax seed oil is a carrier oil and most of the time, carrier oils are provided in much larger quantities at the same price being asked for. For example, Natural by nature offers 50 ml of Sweet Almond oil for only £2.20. Admittedly, they don't have Flax seed oil, however, Holland and Barrett, though not of the same quality, does at 500ml for a little more than Greenwood is asking for.As much as I like the range offered by Greenwood, I do find the carrier oils generally rather expensive.Nonetheless, with a 100% money-back guarantee I am delighted to be able to add this oil to my collection as it shows just how confident the manufacturers are about their products!

I make my own beard oils, and usually use Jojoba oil as a carrier oil, but wanted to experiment, so when this Greenwood oil came up for review, I jumped at the chance to try it out. It is a lovely light oil, with a minimal fragrance. I used lemongrass, lime, and cedarwood with it to make a beard oil, and it is really good at keeping my beard in place and prevents it from getting too itchy and dry.
