I think calling these "nutritious" is a bit of a porky pie, given the artificial ingredients and additives. But that said, I like these. I was looking for a comfort food similar to the USA's infamous "Top Ramen" brand, which I was never allowed to eat as a kid so it gained forbidden fruit appeal, lol. Just being honest. I'm into eating reasonably healthy and am currently working on improving my health, but balance is always best, so comfort foods need to happen. I sprinkle some seaweed on these, which tastes fantastic and is a great way to work kelp into my diet (kelp actually is nutritious and I'm using it and other tools to successfully reversing a state of severe malnutrition). I prefer these noodles to Super Noodles, which my British hubby says is the big brand here in the UK. To me, Super was too mushy and surprisingly bland, given that they also use MSG. Morrison's own brand of these far out performs Super in my opinion, but again I'm trying to imitate a specific taste. So between Morri's and these, I'm a very happy camper. First I hauled out the skillet and simmered them on the stove. Now I just pour water from the kettle over the noodles in a soup bowl. Cover with a plate and let soak for several minutes past the recommended time. That makes for more fluffed out noodles and less soup, which is how I like them. So if you're looking for a quick comfort food, or if you're a fellow transplanted Yank who is dreaming of Top Ramen, give these a try. They make for a tasty light dinner when you don't need any serious energy. Just don't make them your main staple or your health will pay. :)

I bought these for work as our office is “in the sticks” so if you forget your lunch you’ve got a good chance of going hungry. These were meant to be an emergency stash for those moments, my colleagues are fantastic so I was totally happy sharing these.Shortly after I’d brought these into the office the “emergency” arrived. I opened the pack, broke the noodles into chunks in a bowl, poured boiling water from the kettle over them. I waited a few minutes and gave them a good stir then added the two flavour sachets they come with while stirring again.I took them to my colleagues and they went mad over them, everyone loved them and they’re no longer an “emergency” food they’re asked for first. One colleague immediately gave me some money to buy some for him to have at home, they really are very nice and I don’t think I’d be looking for another brand.
