Hospital provided gowns are simply awful – you are in a totally new environment and have no option than to wear this old over sized gown given to you. Often you are asked to wear two, one backwards to cover the gaps in the back while getting up and moving around. The last thing you need to be doing is constantly adjusting, strings untied, shoulder falling down and retying those horrible strings or asking someone to do it for you! You want comfort, you want to feel covered, you want to feel prepared – and maybe a little bit of control – not to mention feeling good about yourself! When designing these Gownies, having been through numerous hospital stays ourselves, we took into account everything that should be changed on a gown – and here it is! So just say “no thank you’ to that tatty old gown and put on something from home, it feels great, clean and stylish . So many hospital staff have contacted us to inquire on our Gownie line – the compliments will just come rolling in! Consider more than one Gownie – they are great for your entire hospital stay

A little luxury
This gown was perfect for both labor and delivery. It was nice to be wearing something that made me feel more modest and dare I say, pretty, during the birth of my second child. Snaps made the epidural and breastfeeding easy.

Way Better Than A Traditional Hospital Gown
I bought this gown to wear during labor/delivery. I like it so much that I am considering buying another to wear after delivery (as I'm sure this one will get dirty). Something about looking cute makes me feel better when I think about going through labor/delivery. For reference, I am 5'4", currently 234 pounds, and 34 weeks pregnant. I got the 2XL. There's plenty of room, so an XL would have fit fine. I just want to give my belly room as it's still growing, and I didn't want to risk it being fitted. I also like that it goes a little past my knees so I'll feel modest and not be worried about keeping my legs perfectly closed while I'm laboring. The cotton fabric is very light and airy without being see-through. I'm very pleased! I plan to update my review once I actually use this gown in the hospital.

great for surgery too! easy on and off!
I purchased this gown because I had surgery on my left shoulder. Getting dressed and undressed caused excruciating pain. My gownie is a GODSEND! I plan to buy more! Love the fabric, print, washes and dries well, easy on and off, sooooooo comfortable! thank you so much! I highly recommend for anyone that's having a baby, or surgery even if outpatient as mine was. looking cute is a bonus lol! ps size is true, I wear a size 16, I needed room, XXL is perfect!

Awesome gown but dont buy the white/black gown
I bought the Large/XL gownies in 3 colors for my mom as she went through her chemo visits at the hospital. They are weekend stays. This gown is GREAT for all the IV's and keeps her looking cute! The blue with white dots/pink with white dots are both lovely and breathe well. My mom loves them. HOWEVER, the white with black dots and pink collar is not made the same and does not breathe at all. You can feel and see the difference and my mom was miserable in it. She is 5'4" and typically wears a size 12.

Love the gown
I felt much better having this gown on after having my baby. I only bought one and tried to decide if to wear during delivery or afterwards and decided to wear after. Next time I'll get two to have before and afterwards. What I loved is having the peace of mind of being in a clean gown and since I breastfed I was more comfortable knowing my baby was not feeding from me after having touched a gown that has been used before by who knows and what had been spilled on the gown before. Plus the chemicals used to wash those hospital gowns. Apart from that the gown was very nice for pictures and helping me feel better after the delivery and lack of sleep. The other nice thing was being able to move around freely without showing like the hospital gowns. I love being able to fully cover up while people visited at the same time easy access to snap off for feeding time. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Great for Hospital Gown Substitute!
Very happy with this gown. I'm in the hospital often due to chronic medical issues and I can't stand the gigantic, itchy gowns that won't stay tied and are stained, no one wants to be in that. So as my health worsens, comfort becomes more and more of a priority.Accurate fit, I'm an XL, the L/XL fits just fine with plenty of room to sit down and move.If I had some wishes, it would be that they would make a slit pocket for the heart monitor cords, and it wouldn't hurt to have the sleeves a hair longer. But overall, very happy with it.

Cute and no backside exposed!
Being able to take off the hospital gown and put this one on instead instantly made me feel better! I had to have hip revision surgery at the Mayo Clinic to repair what was done incorrectly locally ten years ago. I was dreading the surgery since I had bad memories from the previous one. I decided to splurge on this gown--kind of like giving myself a gift for my own pity party. I am so glad I did! The cute print made me feel better as soon as I put it on. I ordered the biggest size so I would have no problem moving around in the bed or being moved by the hospital staff. Even though it was really big, I'm gad I went with the bigger size. With movement being difficult those first 12-24 hours, I'm happy that I wasn't fighting the gown. And there aren't enough happy face emojis to describe how nice it was not having to worry about my backside being exposed to everyone!

Relatively Expensive But Worth It
This was a gift to a longterm healthcare patient who was complaining about the synthetic, 'crispy' hospital gowns the facility furnished. Her review of these went something like this . . . "They are wonderfully soft, fit well and love them'. What more can I add?
