Best purchase I've made in years
I had decided to make a real effort towards zero waste. That's why I ordered them. They are the perfect substitute for paper towels. Anything you would use a paper towel for...you can use these. My family is all on board...we have made significant progress in eliminating paper towels. But guess what? They are perfect as cloth napkins that compliment my placemats! That being said ..it speaks volumes about the quality!!!

Great for cleaning glass and metal appliances
I have used huck towels before and wanted some more of them so I ordered 50 of them. I gave 10 to a friend who works on sail boats (yet to hear how he likes them). I gave 2 to a neighbor with a glass cleaner recommendation (yet to hear how he likes them). Even though these are pretty lint free I still wash them before I use them. I think they are fabulous for cleaning windows, mirrors and metal appliances. Love them for cleaning my car wind shield and windows. I don't use anything else now.

Great for un paper towel use!
Love these. We use these to replace papertowels. They are absorbant, cheap and there are so many I don't have to wash that often yet still have fresh ones to use. We did use one to clean our base boards and it tore the towel, so they aren't incredibly durable because they are thin. But for replacing papertowels they are great!

If you get the better quality ones from the seller, they are excellent!
I had never seen a huck towel before and didn't even know what they were called. Hubby had an accident and needed stitches and the nurse sent him home with several unused ones she suggested we might like for cleaning. After washing them (repeatedly with disinfectant, because they did come from a hospital-but I don't think these for sale here do)...I found that I loved them. They are the best cleaning towels and rags ever. Much better for general cleaning than old t-shirts cut up or microfiber cloths.I ordered these two different times, about a month apart. The first order, was perfect. They washed well (yes, you will get a lot of dryer lint the first time, and that's normal) in hot water with minimal shrinkage. They "softened up" (I don't use fabric softener.) with washing and are wonderful to use for cleaning. They were absorbent and rough enough to scrub but not too rough on the hands or rough enough to scratch say softer wood furniture. The quality of the first order was excellent. It was so good, I wanted more. They were the same quality as the ones from the hospital. The second order, was not so good. The first order, they were all first quality. The second order, they were not. It was impossible to believe it was the same listing from the same seller. One had a hole in it, 2 were stained (I don't think they were used/reclaimed, though.) Even before washing them, the weave was much looser, there were rows of stitches that were loose (you could see through) and some odd thick seams oddly placed in many of them in the middle. Some edge raveling as well. After washing them I was shocked because they were wrinkled and "accordioned" up like a child's folded paper fan. And there was a LOT of shrinkage. However, even with the "accordian" folds they still clean well, surprisingly.I think the mixed reviews are because some orders had excellent towels, others more like my second order. For cleaning with them...I like to use Lavender scented Odoban, available here, Sam's Club & Home Depot-it's hard to find otherwise & it's a concentrate I mix and use in my own spray bottle).I was using microfiber (a popular brand I bought here) and I'll keep those for soft wood furniture (cherry wood, which scratches easily). I disliked the microfiber because cleaning dirt and debris stuck to them like velcro and had to be picked off by hand. I love how much better these "huck towels" are.

last forever and very versatile
These work well for dish towels, shop towels, wiping up after muddy dogs, dusting towels, etc. They are identical to ones that I have been using for almost 20 years that have started to fray (mostly because the dog loves to carry them around.) They are hard working, low lint, moderately absorbant towels that stand up to years of abuse. (andy they don't bleed when in the washing machine!)

I use for painting
Very little lint I mostly use them when spreading Mineral oil or cleaning runs and drips of le Tonkinois or linseed oil. They clean up well enough to use several times.

Good Ones
It seems that the quality of this product varies, so I was hoping I would get the good ones, and I did! There were actually 51 towels in my order. I didn't measure prior to washing, but they are 16x21 after washing, so i assume some shrinkage. The weave tightened some after washing, but no rippling as others have noted. No stains or holes. The hem of one towel was skewed off the grain, but as I said, I got one extra. Only moderate lint in the dryer, and I don't know if the blue color bleeds. I'll was them with like colors for a while. I have bought huck towels in the past, and love them for dish towels, cleaning, hand towels, even napkins. The white ones tend to keep and show stains, so hopefully that will not be such an issue with the blue ones. Very happy with purchase and I'll share them around with family.

Terrible product. Tons and tons of Lint.
This is a terrible product. Threadbare, Fraying, Huge Quanitities of Lint. Bad quality. I bought from MHF. MHF did give me a refund when I requested return but did not want me to return them. Maybe ok as single-use towels that are never washed.I have bought Huck towels in past and have some from hospital where I work that have never frayed after hundreds of washes and do not produce lint. Washed 2 times and 42 out 50 had fraying mostly in center but some along edges. Plus got an absolutely Humungous Pile of Lint from both the washer and the dryer. Washed the remaining unfrayed 18 towels a third time and one more came apart at the edge - I am talking completely came apart - not loose stitched but long strands of cotton thread like a fringe. So I am left with 17 and I will see what happens. There is less lint in dryer after the third wash but the towels are still covered with lint balls. They are not exactly accordian folded but not a smooth flat finish after washing - look sort of crumpled. And like I said still covered with lint balls.
