Second time purchase!!! They make awesome hats. They are very soft and not itchy at all. It keeps me and my fiance warm in the mountains. Water resistance like wool but softer and I think it's warmer. Definitely 100% alpaca. I burt a little bit for fun to make sure it's real because it is SOOOOO soft!

This is very soft to work with and it creates cozy blankets. Sadly, I need more of this color. I hope it is restocked soon. I have two other colors that are waiting patiently to join with more of this HF191 BERRY color. Average price of alpaca items. Final result requires a steep price.

This is the best project to date, and it is largely to do with the luxurious feel and quality of this yarn. This blanket is very soft, and has a bit of weight to it. It will be a very warm blanket, and hopefully a keepsake for our first grandchild.

I was a bit unsure about this purchase, at first, as I am just now gering familiar with yarn types, weights, etc. I know you pay for quality. But this yarn is magically soft!! There are no odd smells, no knots or deviation in it whatsoever! It knots beautifully, feels lovely as you knit, and results in an awesome product. I wish the skeins were larger, but I’m sure the resulting price would be frightening! It is well worth what you pay!!

Lovely material but too bad not available anymore

I was disappointed with this yarn. I ordered bulky weight but received worsted weight. Otherwise the color and softness are great. Was needing bulky weight for my project.

And soooo soft!I've never knitted with 100% alpaca before and I absolutely love this yarn.I love the GORGEOUS Orange Heather color. It's just perfect for a pop of color during our dreary winters.The stitch definition is great and it's very easy to knit with, zero splitting. I just started a seed stitch scarf and am only partly through my first ball, but so far, I haven't come across any splices that I know of.After I finished my scarf, I am planning on knitting a hat and cannot wait to wear them both.I will definitely be back for more of this yarn. 👍👍
