From all the positive reviews, I was expecting sturdy, top quality stools but I was quite disappointed. The stools are very attractive and reasonably comfortable, however they are relatively smaller than expected. They are not very well constructed either. Was hoping for an all-welded metal frame - instead, each stool comes in 7 pieces which are held together by 22 bolts and washers. Appears solid enough so far but time will tell. I expect they will loosen up. Made in China. Came with no instructions. Hardware was cheap and several bolt threads stripped during assembly. Took about an hour per stool to assemble. Not happy with this purchase. If you need light-duty and pretty, order a set. If you want heavy duty, quality construction, put your money toward something else.

Love these stools! Perfect height for our bar and are EXTREMELY comfortable. Easy to assemble and are very sturdy. I gave it four stars because when they swivel the backing hits our granite counter top. This is really a user error and not a product defect. I just removed the backs and they work fine. Highly recommend this product to anyone.

I have owned these stools for less than 3 years. Let me start by saying, I had very high hopes for these stools. They matched my brand new kitchen in my brand new house in color and style perfectly. This was our first purchase for the new build furniture. literally had them in a wish list for months. After owning them for a time I can say. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. These chairs fall apart. These chairs are hardly ever used in my house and yet, every single one is falling apart. The back falls off. The screws don’t fit and they are dangerous. My poor nephew just about cracked his skull in falling back in one of these. Do yourself a favor and move on! They didn’t make it through a year of just me and my husband living in our house..... without trouble and now after 3, I’m looking at spending ANOTHER small fortune on stools for my kitchen.

Nice stools,very nice addition to my counter height dining table. Although a a little shorter across the back than I thought. As more time passes, certain areas on them show the black finish is rubbing off.

I bought these over 4 years ago. I love these stools. I need 2 more! I reupholstered the seats to match my decor. The are still like new and we use them everyday!

I love these barstools. They are great quality & very sturdy. I bought 4 and put them together because I didn't know how big they would be for Island. I didn't realize how huge our island was so I immediately bought two more and they look fantastic. We've had so many compliments on them. They accent our wrought iron lanterns that hang above the island perfectly. I would suggest these in a heartbeat

Very stylish, but heavy and hard to turn around so we can use as stools (w/o backs) as we were used to. I would have given a 5 star review, except for the hard to turn feature.... maybe that is a good feature... ?

We bought two of these for the kitchen island in our new home. They went together well and are both sturdy and beautiful. We added felt pads to the feet so they would not scratch the floors, but the chairs are heavy enough that they don't slip around even with the felt. We liked the two stools so much, we bought two more!
