I love love love patchouli!! I have other brands essential oils, solid perfumes & incense. All patchouli is a little different compared to the concentration, what its mixed with, etc.When I first used the roll on oil from this brand, it smelled like lake water and faintly like patchouli. I let it rock on my skin for a bit and 15 minutes later it smells like a beautiful, not overbearing patchouli oil. Love it. Just applying it it smells like lake water then somehow turns into patchouli. I'll take it! Patchouli is a very earthy, unique scent so I am very very happy the lake water scent went away and the relaxing patchouli scent came in. Maybe it was how my skin reacted with this new oil (like perfumes, once settled in persons skin, smell different on everyone after a few hours) it's all about chemical makeup in your skin & the oil. Would buy again for sure

I don't write reviews, but I just wanted to say that this brand and scent I've been loving for a few years. Bought the roller several times, always got compliments on the scent, and I LOVED how I could smell it on my clothes at the end of the day. However, this last one I got just doesn't smell very strong at all. It's actually quite weak. First time this has happened. It fades in a few hours leaving nothing behind. I find I have to put it on a couple times a day. Maybe it was a bad batch? Also, they changed the roller ball. It's a small brown color instead of the larger white one. The white one is more attractive to me.Update: I did a return of this last roller, got a replacement quite quickly, and unfortunately it's the same issue. A barely there smell, gone in a couple hours, and no trace left behind on any clothing. They have Completely diluted this product. It's not at all what it used to be.

I haven't worn Patchouli since my 70s and 80s Berkeley hippie days. I wanted something subtle and diluted and I found that with this :)

this product is not great and i will tell you why. patchouli is a strong smell, and the oil is usually very minimally applied. i normally apply it directly from a bottle and just smear a little on my fingers, however when i saw this roll on application i thought it would be a good way to get the smell i love without having to smear it on. unfortunately, this product is extremely watered down, or maybe mixed with some other type of oil. the scent is extremely lacking- you can barely smell it unless you put your nose right on your skin, it is barely detectable. after applying oil from a regular bottle to my skin, i can catch the scent when i move, or stand or sit, or if i perspire slightly, etc. this, you can't smell at all. i also like the way my clothes smell after applying regular dark patcouli oil- or my bedsheets- they have that woodsy scent when the oil rubs off. this stuff you can't smell at all. its pointless to even use it because the scent is so lacking. so, back to applying it with my fingers direct from the bottle.if you're looking for a ptachouli scent, try searching for a small bottle, an ounce lasts a long time, of dark patchouli oil. if you want to use a qtip to apply you can. i use it instead of deoderant because regular deoderants irritate my underarms, plus i really like the smell. this stuff is pointless though- smell isn't strong enough and wears off as soon as it dries.

I’ve been looking for the perfect patchouli fragrance and finally found it! This smells amazing, lasts a long time, and isn’t too overpowering. Will definitely order again!

It was suggested to me peppermint essential oil would help with headaches if dabbled behind the ears. For mild head aches or when one is starting this is a tremendous help. Being already diluted and small enough to fit in a purse, this is perfect to always have with me in case of emergency.
