Flat-Footer's Unite!
I had bought a new pair of shoes recently but found that they provided ZERO support for my arch and was causing quite a bit of discomfort after walking in them for a few hours. I am as flat-footed as a duck and had tried the usual route with Dr. Scholl's inserts, and while they helped, they still didn't support my arch any better either.I did some research and came across the Samurai insoles for flat feet and decided to give them a try. Although they were quite a bit more expensive than the off-the-shelf brands, the built in arch support piqued my interest. I ordered a pair and received them a few weeks ago before a scheduled trip to Texas, where I knew I would be doing a lot of walking. When I received them, I followed the instructions and removed the existing insoles in my shoes and inserted the Samurai's. They fit into the shoe almost perfectly and required no trimming. I slipped the shoes on and tried walking around a bit. At first they felt a little weird, as I just wasn't used to something that was actually pushing up into my arches and giving me support. I walked around for about a day but still felt that my feet were getting sore and tired. Then I thought of something. . .I took my shoes off and removed the Samurai insoles, then re-inserted the ORIGINAL shoe insoles back into the shoes, followed by the Samurai's on top. As soon as I slipped my feet back into my shoes, I could feel a real difference. Now, I had great support AND a much softer, comfortable step. I felt like I was walking on cushions, and there was no crowding or discomfort from a too-tight shoe. I wore them to work like this for several days so I could get used to them.Fast-forward to my Texas trip last week. We went to San Antonio and spent an entire day checking out the River Walk, which is incredibly cool BTW. That day, I put on over 8-miles of walking and not once did my feet hurt or get cramped. They were tired of course, but that I can deal with. We also spent several more days walking many miles and my feet did not bother me. I can say without a doubt that the Samurai Insoles made a huge difference. Now, some observations. . .* Arch Support: Yes, these insoles do have fairly good arch support, but it's not over the top. It does the job without pushing your foot up too high.* Softness: By themselves, these insoles are not all that soft, but by inserting them ON TOP of your original shoe insoles, you will have a nice cushy step. I guess in some shoes this might be a problem, but for me it made all the difference, so if you order these insoles, try it both ways.* Break-In period: I don't understand the very slow break-in period recommended in the instructions. Wearing these for only an hour or two a day when first starting seems like a waste of time to me, but I guess some people's feet might not be able to take the extra arch support for too long without a break. For me, my feet felt so good I just left them in and never looked back. Try it and see how long you can go. I wouldn't take them out if your feet aren't hurting or tired.* Price: Yes, they are quite a bit more expensive than the off-the-shelf variety, but they are truly orthotic and specifically shaped to support your big flat feet or other foot problems. Custom orthotics would run hundreds of dollars if you went to a doctor. This is a reasonable alternative.Bottom line - I really like the Samurai's. Now I can get the shoes I want and know that I can also get the support my flat feet really need. I expect to wear these out with the shoes and replace them with new ones when I buy a new pair of shoes. I can't guarantee that these will be the answer to all your foot problems, but I can say that I have definitely made an improvement in the comfort of my feet for a reasonable cost and no hassle. Give a shot - your feet might just thank you after a long day. . .

These inserts are firm, but they are doing the trick! I have only been wearing these a few weeks, but totally can see a big difference already in my heel pain!

... google search had them listed as one of the better insoles to get in a modest price range
UPDATE 04/10/17Took my new friends on a 10 mile tempo run yesterday. No slipping, no uncomfortable edges, no rubbing, and...no pain. Knee pain stayed to a minimum, feet felt energized the whole run. The rest of the day and the following day I have not yet experienced pain in my foot that typically follows a long run. Took these kids out of the running shoes and into some slip on canvas shoes and they worked just as wonderfully!UPDATE 04/06/17I took these puppies for an 8 mile track workout. Typically, the day after my speed workouts, I will hobble around because my spring ligament hates me and I'm ignoring medical advice to stop running. So my pain is no reflection on these insoles, just my own stubbornness. So, I wore these for a 3 mile walk with my family earlier in the day. Still leaves plenty of room in my Brooks Pure Cadence so my toes don't feel squished. For the speed workout, I put them in my New Balance sneakers. Plenty of room, fits perfectly, no sliding issues, can't even tell they are there aside from that extra support. Today, I'm feeling a lot less stiffness and pain in my foot! I'm so excited! Barely any pain aside from the typical soreness that follows a hard speed workout! Very happy. Will be taking these with me on my 10 mile tempo run this weekend.I ordered these after a quick google search had them listed as one of the better insoles to get in a modest price range.I have flat feet, not fallen arches, feet so flat I make a duck look like he has high arches. my navicular bone sticks out on both feet, I over pronate, and I have now developed issues with my spring ligament on my right foot. I'm a runner and typically ignore all the foot pain because I figured that comes with the territory of being a flat footed person. However, I've been training harder than usual for a new half marathon PR and my right foot is not not happy. So i decided to cave and try out some insoles. So far, I've only had them for a day. I've gone on a 2 mile walk with my dog and a 4 mile run. the walk I used my Brooks PureCadence. Took out the insert and put these bad boys in. The walk was comfortable and my foot felt about 50% better during that walk. For running, I have New Balance vongos I used today. Slipped out the shoe inserts and these again fit perfect inside without any issue. NO slipping, no issues feeling the edges. The insoles offered great support, and my foot felt pretty happy running in these. I'm planning to wear these and get my feet used to them and see if they are up for a 10 or 12 mile run in the next couple weeks. Overall, happy so far!

Decent insoles, but didn't meet my high arch requirements
I know the product title doesn't specifically state for high arch, but various websites and product reviews recommended these for high arch support. I didn't find they provided high enough support for me. I would consider them appropriate for normal arches, maybe normal/slightly higher than normal, but NOT truly high arches. I ended up trying the Powerstep high insole and am much more satisfied with the product. Aside from the arch consideration, they are decent insoles. They do have minimal padding in the majority of the sole, so keep that in mind if you like thinner versus padded soles.SUMMARY: NOT recommended for high arch. Probably fine for normal arches or slightly high arch. Thin which can be good for shoes with less space and those who don't want much padding to their soles. NOT recommended for those who want a lot of overall padding/cushion in their insoles.

Best ones I bought
I’m an airline worker, and I stand on my feet at least 8 hours a day, I tried many insoles that never worked but these ones.. oh man, they are amazing! I leave work and my feet don’t hurt whatsoever! I strongly recommend buying them if you tried insoles and haven’t found them yet! Also, they fit a bit tight on dress shoes but not to the point of being uncomfortable.
