Great projector! I am very happy with this purchase
Great projector! I am very happy with this purchase. I researched a number of projectors, but settled on this one because it has Android built in and a brightness of 200 lumens. The form factor is very nice and has the feel of a very well built product to include the remote control. I had a little trouble connecting the projector to my Samsung Galaxy S5 because the included user guide is a little lacking, but the customer support was very helpful and sent me additional instructions which worked perfectly. The main reason I bought this is to stream videos from Google Videos and Amazon Video and it does both very well and a lot more! I had no issues getting it connected to my wireless network or connecting blue tooth devices to it. The user interface takes a little getting used to, but works great after connecting my phone to the projector and using my phone as a mouse. Picture is great and very sharp, sound is adequate, and fan noise is not detectable. It also has can be attached to a tripod, which is great.

Surprisingly good
I was skeptical when I decided on the H3000, especially being a one-off no-brand-name of unknown provenance, but it actually turned out to be a pretty decent projector, hitting all the marks -high brightness, small size, the convenience and familiarity of Android, and a low price. (It can be had for a pretty low price if you look)DLP chips now come in a diamond pixel configuration, in which the mirrors are rotated 45°, in addition to the original square configuration. The diamond array provides slight size advantages because of the angle in which they reflect the light from the source toward the lens, but they also cause the resolution and sharpness to suffer, because despite having the same number of pixels as a standard DLP chip, the native pixel arrangement for digital images is a square vertical and horizontal grid, and does not map 1:1 to the diamond configuration. "...Any algorithm/filtering/re-sampling by necessity will be a compromise between jagged pixel artifacts and blurring..." (If you search for this quote you can find more information about this and pico-projectors in general on a blog run by a man named Karl Guttag.)Having said that, it's really not something you're going to notice at all when you're watching video. I viewed this projector side by side with a 1280x720 LCoS laser projector with 720 & 1080 source material and there was no discernible difference in resolution (the camera recorded color differently in part because I used auto white balance, but they looked the same to the naked eye). You can see by the photos the effect it has on static images and straight lines, and you can see the jaggies if you're projecting a very large picture, but under normal circumstances it's not really an issue. I just like knowing these kinds of details before I buy. To my knowledge, there are only two diamond pixel DLPs for video projectors, 854x480 and 1200x800, so if the projector you're looking at has either of those native resolutions there is a good chance that it is using one of these diamond DLPs.Brightness is pretty good. 100 ANSI lumens is probably an accurate specification. It's bright enough to make a 100" image in subdued evening light. I don't know about projecting out of doors, but it's plenty bright enough for a dim living room or bedroom, especially if you have a screen or a neutral white wall. As you can see in the photos, it lights up my (slightly messy) dining room and hallway, which are painted a shade of brown resembling cardboard.Android is important if you want to avoid being tethered to a PC or spending days trans-coding your videos to a playable codec. Android will play pretty much anything you can throw at it. You can also cast to it from your phone or PC (it comes pre loaded with a few sharing/casting apps and you can download your own), and watch anything that's available on your network via DLNA. It's not the latest version (it's not upgradeable from 4.4), and the processor hardware is so-so, but it's adequate and generally plays without hiccups, even across the network, and it's all the Android you're likely to need on a projector. It makes up for the absence of a HDMI port.A USB mouse and keyboard, or Bluetooth keyboard/trackpad is a must, and you should buy one at the same time as the projector to avoid the frustration of typing with the remote and the limited functionality it provides (you can't get the cursor to all the places you need it with the remote) One thing that bugs me is the touch control surface. Many times I accidentally touched a button while handling it, and the video stopped and it went back to the home screen or wherever. I'd prefer tactile buttons. Mount it on a tripod and leave it alone while watching.Offset of the H300 s zero which means the image is projected directly in front of the projector, as opposed to 100% offset projectors which aim the image upward so the bottom of the image is level with the projector, allowing you to set it flat on a table and not have the table obstruct the image. You may want a mini tripod so you don't have to prop the projector at an upward angle.Heat, noise, and build quality: I'm a little neurotic when it comes to adequate heat dissipation. When I feel something getting too hot to touch comfortably I worry it's going to fry. As anyone who has built a desktop PC knows, common small axial bladed electronics fans are weak points. They produce practically no static pressure and as such provide poor airflow if obstructed (by a heat sink) and get dust in their bearings and are usually the first thing to die in any device. On the upside, it's fairly quiet as projectors go. You don't hear a whine of a motor, so much as the whoosh of airflow. Better built projectors these days are sporting squirrel-cage fans, even tiny ones, which perform better. Not so with the H3000. This unit has a relatively long and narrow heat sink on the LEDs. It has a tiny fan and small vents which further restrict airflow, so you should keep the projector clear of anything which will block the vents. The chips get hot and have no heat sinking. The first unit I got was used and had a problem, it seemed something would occasionally hold up the processor at 100% and it would overheat and shut down. The new one doesn't seem to have that problem. If you don't mind sacrificing portability and you know what you're doing, you might consider popping the lid off and letting it breathe, and possibly adding small heat sinks to the chips. I take no responsibility for anything you might break in the process. The casing has a nice rubbery matte finish. It definitely looks and feels like a higher end device. Inside it's a little bit sketchier, and it may require an occasional dust removal to coax the maximum service life out of it. As-is it'll probably still be the DMD chip that goes first. Who knows. Maybe in a couple years projectors will be even cheaper.Pico projectors are not really a substitute for high power high resolution home theater equipment, nor are they usually suitable for Powerpoint and the like. They *can*, however, be quality entertainment gear. They're not nearly as costly as a standard projector, and because they're inexpensive, you don't have to threaten dire repercussions to anyone who touches yours, you can let the kids have at it. It'll be a huge hit with them. This resolution is common for pico projectors, and despite being 480, at normal viewing distances the picture actually does look as good as a 1080 television. All and all, in the pico category, it is about the most projector you can get for your dollar. I cannot vouch for the longevity of the unit as I haven't had it very long.

Awesome system! bright color
Awesome system! bright color, great product! The projector is compact with great design. I was a little concerned about unsuitability of system as addressed by other reviews, but after using, no such problem has occurred so far except that the machine kept rebooting when low on battery. this can be an issue that need improving in the future. Based on my experience, I am summarizing the pros and cons of this machine:pros: 1. vivid color, perfect for watching movie. 2. brightness. this is the only project that can be used with lights on in the room. 3. there are a lot apps available for Android 4.4, mouse model is also supported by the project, which makes operation much easier 4. very convenient to use airplay 5. machine is compact with minimum fan noise 6. package is pretty strong.cons: 1. there is a lag in display after connecting to laptop, making it unsuitable for games, can only be used for office use. 2. the system kept rebooting without reminder if battery runs low 3. instruction is too simple, really hard to follow.

Seems fake/knock-off | Better options available
The letters on this instantly "fell off"PLEX was unable to stream properly and was causing system resets. System crashed for no reason.Cumbersom OS and not stable.Limited functionality and there are other Projectors out there that are better. It is more expensive but I HIGHLY recommend iCODIS CB-300 Pico Projector 1080p HD Video with DLP 1800 Lumen, Mini HDMI,30,000 Hour Led Life, Portable Pocket Movie and Entertainment Home Theater

Horrible, no warranty, no customer support. It is frozen and does not start, reboot or even turn off.
Horrible!Got it last year for Christmas, and we used it probably 6-7 times for 2-3 weeks after we got it. Have not used it since then. We just decided to give it a try and it does not want even to boot. It is frozen on the android starter screen. I have reset it around 10 times, no change, still frozen. There is no customer support, no one to contact. No warranty.Do not waste your money.

Worst part is
As mentioned in earlier review its keep rebooting when power is low. Also battery duration is not as mentioned in specifications. it almost completely drains in 70-80 minutes.Worst part is,it keep on loosing wifi signal after some time and projector need to restart. I believe,OS is not stable. As per my knowledge ,this problem was also in previous OS version.

Excellent.. Performs as described.
One of my rare 5 stars. Great little projector. Excellent color, resolution and brightness. The bright ness is good for personal use but may not be sufficient for a busness confrence room.
