I'm a huge Camp Chef fan. My first Explorer 2 burner I bought in 2004 and am still using it along with my SG90 Griddle and my Camp Chef Artisan pizza oven. Quality products that last. So I wanted to upgrade and got the FTG600P . The camp chef grill 600 is a 2 piece grill with the griddle being separate from the grill. The griddle is heavy, and I purchased the bag that is made for it, which makes transport much easier. Once the griddle is off of the grill, the grill is actually very light. I have used this for smash burgers for my employees multiple times and it works great. Breakfast for 10 people is doable - sausage links, hash browns first, once done, push to the side and turn down burner, then do french toast and eggs. Works great. Love this thing. Camp Chef did it right by making a portable "big" griddle.

Very easy to use, cooks food evenly, sets up in seconds

So far I love this griddle. Very solid, easy to set up and take down. I did how ever have an issue with the deflector shield under the griddle. As I was heating it up for the first time (on low) and slow the welds started to pop, a total of 9. The shield is still intact and I am able to use it with out any issues. I have since cooked on it over 15 times and have not had any other issues. I did how ever call camp chef and explain what happen. I made a claim (super easy and very friendly staff) and they said they would be sending me another one as soon as they could, and that if I can keep using the one i have then to do so. Once the other griddle top gets in they said I can dispose of the other one. (probably wont) I haven't received the new griddle top yet but they have kept me up to date through emails. COVID STUFFOne suggestion I would make to the design; the grease hole could be a little bit bigger. NOT A DEAL BREAKER.If you love cooking on a griddle you will love this!

Bought this for my husband’s cousin who takes it to local Farmers Market during summer. He cooks pizza, burgers and omelets. This is a perfect size for him to use. He likes that it is portable and fits in his van.

Beware! The Camp Chef Portable Flat Top Grill is advertised as 'portable', it is anything but!The photos show the side shelves serving as a cover when folded. However, the flat top griddle plate must be removed before closing the unit. Further, there is no provision for storing the griddle that has been removed!I should have been more inquisitive about setting up and tearing down the griddle. I've learned a lesson.Another oversight on my part is the note that says the griddle is not returnable. Again, shame on me.Now I'm stuck with a product that doesn't meet my needs for a "Portable Flat Top Grill"

This is a great grill! Completely preseasoned (many aren’t, or just have a stainless steal top that warps with heat.) This is very sturdy and cooks very well. It was heavier than expected, but still portable with the foldable legs. Would completely recommend this to others.

Bought this as a birthday gift for myself and shortly after I used it in cooking 12 meals at a youth camp. It came in handy and handle whatever we had to cook.
