Quick, Easy to learn, NO DOWN TIME:You're always doing something. Even on other players turns. Tetris meets Yatzy...?...kinda.Your turn: roll dice, optionally use any available manipulation abilities, choose your colored dice and draw the associated shape.During other players turns: You can select a color out of the unused colors to level up for future manipulation abilities on your turn.Aside from keeping you busy always having to make a quick decision, and keeping players more engaged with each other's turns....it creates strategy within itself. "Should I take the other set..?..because she keeps taking my leftover greens".The colors represent both the shapes you must draw and the powers you can use.Some shapes are special and can only be drawn once, but there's a power that let's you reuse special shapes. The powers are all very different and useful.One of the few games I can recommend to literally any group of ppl.Stop playing Monopoly, it's the very definition of a terrible boardgame. It's like the whole metric system thing. Everyone knows it's better, but it would take a lot of work to change everything so instead we just keep teaching our children how to play monopoly.

2 players- never played with moreWe are enjoying playing this game. We've played about 10 times so far. It's easy to learn and is never the same game twice. The dice determine your choices but how you choose to use it makes each turn interesting. We are still figuring the "best" strategy to win! There are some good videos on line to assist with learning how to play.

So, I've never played the original game Copenhagen, but I love polyomino games so I may have to try it out now after playing this one. Solid and simple rules, building up shapes like Tetris. The single use shapes adds a bit of fun as well as the special powers that can be activated by building up your shapes.Simple and fun filler game. Very satisfied with this purchase. Four stars and a blue L shape!!

Great roll and write. Different than most roll and writes; however you must be a fan of the roll and write genre. Quick and easy to learn. We even played with a 6 year old - he didn’t really know what he was doing but still was able to follow and have fun. Definitely more fun for the adults though.

This game is great. It is easy to learn and understand, however becomes complex in deciding on strategies. A rather quick and entertaining game to play with families and friends.The box comes with two blocks of papers on which the game is played and five colored dices. My only criticism would therefore be, that it is quite expensive for what it comprises. You will also need to have pens or pencils if you want to start playing.All in all, the idea of the game is great and I would really look forward to an extension (possibly to play with more than four people or with more colour options...)

Copenhagen Roll and Write ist ein richtig tolles Spiel für den Urlaub.Im Set enthalten sind1 doppelseitig bedruckter Spielerblog1 doppelseitig bedruckter Tetris Formen Block5 Farbwürfel1 Spielanleitung.Ziel des Spiels ist es als erster 12 Siegpunkte zu erreichen die ich durch füllen von Reihen und Spalten erreiche. Dabei kann ich Boni und Fähigkeiten nutzen wenn ich sie freigeschaltet habe um größere Formen zu verwenden oder vielleicht nochmal zu würfeln.Meine Kinder mögen das Spiel sehr gerne da es schon kleine taktische Raffinessen beinhaltet. Außerdem wird durch das Spiel das drehen der Formen gefördert. Je nach Alter kann es sein das man dem Kind dabei etwas helfen muss, aber wenn es öfters auf den Tisch kommt haben die Kinder das ganz schnell raus.Dadurch das man auch von dem Würfelergebnis von dem Aktiven Spieler profitieren kann und man ein Kreuz setzen kann ist die Downtime sehr gering bei allen Spielern.Die Anleitung ist eigentlich ganz gut geschrieben bis auf die Bonis und Fähigkeiten, da hätte ein zwei Beispiele geholfen das etwas besser zu verstehen.Wir lieben das Spiel sehr und es macht riesigen Spaß und kommt daher regelmäßig auf den Tisch.Ich hoffe ich konnte mit meiner Rezension behilflich sein.
