VinceWomen's Stitch Front Seam Legging Pants

I have these pants by Vince in black, navy and gesso, two pairs in each color. I just purchase them in dark gray. The are a beautiful and extremely comfortable fit. They are form fitted to the knee but are cut to be worn as pants, not leggings. They look great with blouses, tunics and sweaters worn untucked. There are no lumps or bumps from zippers or pockets. They are very slimming. One thing of which to be aware: DO NOT IRON THEM. They have too much spandex and will melt. I learned the hard way. I was fortunate that Newman Marcus replaced my first pair because there is no warning label. They hold their shape very well. They are dressier that jeans and leggings but not as uncomfortable as conventional pants. These are my favorite pants of all time.

Very flattering pants, more dressy than leggings, go with everything. The stitch front seam makes your legs look long and thin. I love them so much I have them in all the colors offered.

I ordered black Vince pants and was surprised that they're closer to Navy by far. I checked the tag and made sure they were 'black' and was confused to see they were indeed sold as black. I also read that these were hi-rise leggings and sad to see they're more midrise. That puts them in an odd category where they're not quite the right height to wear with my cropped sweaters, and they dont tuck into boots. As an hourglass shaped gal I wear a lot of things that highlight the waist and these pants are just 75% of the way there. They're very quality pants and clearly well made, they're just not as versatile as I need them to be. I also kept reading that they were super stretchy and expected a more generous fit, but at 5'3 and 120lbs, the size small was pretty tight. I do have a more athletic form and they do fit, but I didn't think they'd be this tight.

I feel like the quality is not Vince standard. Fake product???
