In fact, the power in the mid section of this rod is quite incredible - bend it to the limit and the butt section just keeps going! It is excellent for commercial carp lakes and will even double up for a spot of barbel river fishing. It also, however, allows you to use down to 0.12lb hook lengths and size 18 hooks, for use with baggin/puddle style wagglers. The Mi3 takes float fishing on carp lakes or rivers to the limits - a super rod at a superb price!
