I love the variety you get, with this package, and my niece loved playing with these. I poured a few different colors into a container, filled with water, and set it on the counter, while we played with other sensory items. She kept checking on the beads, and would excitedly report back that they had gotten so much bigger. Once they were big enough, she played with them, for a surprisingly long time.The instructions say to pour one packet of beads into 32oz of water, but I don't measure the water. I just pour a bit of each color into a container of water, and once they beads are big enough, I drain the rest of the water. Full absorption will take 12-15 hours, but they are big enough to play with, after a few hours.I know that some other reviewers had mentioned that these break apart too easily, and while I might agree, if I were planning on re-using them, my niece loved the feeling of breaking them apart. They did, however, need a good bit of pressure, to make them break; they did not just fall apart, when touched.I still have a lot left, so we have at least a few more play sessions to go, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to need to re-purchase these, when we run out.

My kids loved these! Lots of fun! They do break though and they are MESSY! If you're good with that, great product! :)

I've had a bunch of these water marbles and the kids love them.purchased them for Stocking Stuffers for Christmas which turned out great.However, the kids thought it would be great to empty ALL of the packets at once into the sink and watch them grow... :)and grow they did... :) Noticed that the colored marbles are pretty soft... The clear ones are the best and the most firm and they seem to hold up the best. The colored marbles are so soft that picking them up sometimes they just fall apart in your hands...but they did provide some hours of entertainment...
