This dress is definitely a Free People style dupe. The quality was great for the price point. It fit me really well, other than the lining. I am 5’9” and the lining under the dress barely covered my butt. You can definitely wear biker shorts and a tank under it, but you will be able to tell you’re wearing shorts. I initially ordered the light green. However, since I returned it, I think if I order the black, it will work better with shorts as a liner.

I used the lace overdress as my wedding dress at Wasteland Weekend '23! Took rit dye nicely and the seams were sturdy enough I was able to sew a lining into the chest area. Slightly stretchy, very comfy and moves beautifully. I got a large and it fit nicely throughout but a little tight in the shoulders. I'm rather broad shouldered and busters, though.

UPDATE! I oredered the next size up and it fits perfectly. Its a really pretty dress! **********Original review:I had to return it. The sizing is crazy wrong! I purchased a medium, according to recommendation from Amazon. I am 5'4 inches tall and weight 115 lbs, with a size 36 bust. I have an hourglass body type.The dress was VERY tight on me! I loved it but had to return it. I did reorder in a larger size! Definitely order UP, size wise.

The lace outer layer is beautiful and worth getting, but the black under layer is approximately tennis skirt length. You may want to be prepared with a different underlayer.

I love this dress and it fit me great EXCEPT for the arm holes, OUCH! They’re sooooo tight and I don’t even have large arms. So unless you have lil twigs for arms you might have to cut the seams like I did. Very cute otherwise tho

I was afraid the dress would look very cheap. It did not. It’s not super high-quality but it’s very comfortable fit very well has a liner that goes under it so you can’t see everything through it. I definitely wore it backwards with a Vee in the front worked great for my Bellatrix Lestrange costume.

There is no slip as shown in photos. Kinda disappointing as I specifically bought from this seller bc I thought slip was included. Reviews showed a slip underneath in some pictures too. However I just received a see through lace dress. Very Pretty though. *Don’t size up as many reviews states. I’m 5’2, 100lbs medium is too big. I purchased the grey color In medium. I’m going to return. Look for a different seller that does include the slip. If I don’t find in time to arrive for Halloween.. I guess I’ll re-order a size small and find a slip to purchase with. Hopefully my review helps others interested in this dress.

Such a cute dress! Fits perfectly, soft fabric, incredibly flattering.. it’s just not my style.. and sometimes you have to see yourself in something to realize that it’s just not for you. The v should definitely go on the back in my opinion, but this is super cute!

Love the lace! But fit me a bit too big

I like the dress, but it is definitely smaller than the advertised size. Good thing it is stretchy. Two sizes larger. Would still have been body skimming and would have fallen much longer, which was what I was looking for. The great thing is, it can be worn two ways; as shown or backwards for a plunging neckline. Based on other reviews, I will not take a chance washing this in a machine. It is hand wash, only no matter what the label says.

I love this dress. I have bought 3. So why such a poor review? The first dress was supposed to be beige. It was yellow and came without the slip. They gave me 10% refund. Really? You can’t wear the dress without the slip. The next dress I ordered in grey. It’s grey but not the same as pictured and it came with 2 identical black slips. The slips are cut high while the back of the dress is low. I bought my own grey slip that falls below the back line. Now I’m waiting for my last order to arrive. It’s black. I can’t imagine how they can screw that up. But stay tuned. Still very pretty and a reasonable price.
